Looks like he seems to have lost all interest in posting when it became apparent he wasn't getting a loan.  That's often a fairly accurate indicator it was a scam to begin with.

or he just waited and mined his .2

Well.... A newbie asking for a tiny little loan that he is able to repay with his mining earnings....

Not like most requests you see from members with under 100 posts....

It's true. I know the feeling of being just barely off too. It sucks. Anyways, good luck!

yeah seems pointless..

This seems legit IMO... I don't see him taking off with so little.....but who knows...

Could be legit. But then again people have scammed for similar amounts back when BTC was worth even less:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/requesting-025-btc-loan-pays-in-30-mins-at-least-02-interest-104633

Edit: I think I'm wrong about it being worth less at the time.  Too lazy to look at the historicals right now.

Dude, that's 2 dollars you are talking about.

I lend them to you.

Interest free.

Just send me the 0.2 BTC back in a week.

Send them back to 1Gwimwf7PgCYhuqx2i6zfYVRRXTLA5m8YB

Now I need your address.

Please read this before lending: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/edu-how-to-spot-a-scammer-read-this-before-lending-your-coins-119896

Spend 4 hours here and made 17 Posts to scam 2$. Quite a salary

In the time it took you to write this post and the followup reply, you could have just gone to the bank.  You seriously need to borrow $2?

I also have a few DOTA2 keys lying around, I think 1 key for 0.2BTC is a good deal.

I'm looking to borrow 0.2 BTC for 4-5 days. I will give 0.25 BTC back (25% interest).

I'm doing this because I want to buy something but I'm barely off, I'd rather not make a trip to my bank for such a small amount.

Here's a screen of my client running a few minutes ago (my math indicates 4.32 days to repay at this rate).

PS: I just got started, it's a fun way to waste electricity (mine is free ATM).
