Doesn't have to be a special oil - just don't use cooking oil of any sort, mineral oil is the best in terms of cheap and readily available.  There's that 3M fluid, but it's overkill and very expensive - leave that to people who are experimenting with densely packed blades Smiley

Ok thanks for the info. Smiley

Well I would like to build a really awesome looking station with 2 of those erupters. Also is just a mineral oil good, or does it have to be any special oil?

Well, those are Block Erupters, rather than Antminer U1/U2's - thus my asking if that's the one you meant - but, sure, you could do that.  I'm pretty sure you can just as well leave the heatsinks on, though.  These little miners generally don't generally even need active cooling, so immersion cooling seems overkill and messy, and the heat still has to go somewhere once the oil temp is saturated.  But if you are going to do it, make sure you use a nice clean mineral oil - cooking oil and such is a recipe for disaster Wink

Awesome Smiley I can do that by just putting the case of the miner off and put it in the mineral oil, or?

Hello, I am looking of a picture with 2 Antminer USB miners inside two bottles filled with oil for cooling.

So if anyone have that image, please post Smiley
