Hey, Send me a PM! I'm not super proficient in Rust but I can give it a try depending on how difficult your use case is.
I am also a Java programmer with half a year of experience 
I know Rust as a new kind of programming language, fast and easy to use. I'm not sure if there are Rust developers here, but if you need to write simple scripts I can try, I think it's not too difficult to write about computations. In general, programming in new languages will be similar, and I think I can do it, never mind the price.
