Hey everyone,

I've been eating and sleeping cryptocurrency for a while now, and my latest programming project has me reading up on a ton of cryptonote stuff.    I  really like the concept of a truly anonymous decentralized currency, and I'd like to create one.

So, how would this be different from any other bytecoin/monero fork?
I'm glad you've asked.

!. This is not a money grab. No ICO, no premine, no scammy shit, we'll be in on the mining or running pools from the start, so if it does well we will not suffer.

2. There are a lot of cryptonote currencies, some have features the other lack, despite being open source. We would not be too proud to take feature from other coins to make life better for our users. Examples: Deposit w interest, encrypted chat, one off transaction addresses, possibly cytptonote-lite via aeon

3. Community: A hard goal will be blockchain based voting to make decisions for the organization. Decisions made by a consensus are the only way to fairly govern a decentralized mass.

4.  In it for the long run. A lot of these ANN ICO BOUNTY threads are irrelevant 4-6 months after being posted. I am committed to this, and I'm looking for others who are too.

5. Goals:  There are many things we could do as a team to improve the lives of the community. I'm interested in merge-mining with another coin to foster adoption. As it stands only minergate ( I have much to say about them) has a working cryptonote merged pool.  By taking features from the other currencies, we would become a place where several codes would join, all of our improvements would obviously be open-sourced and given back to the community.

I am a self-taught programmer, but I've built a cryptonote currency/pool/wallet to test my skills before making this post.   For things to go well, I'd like at least one other person who will scream about how cool it is all over the internet, and at least one person with some digital art skills. If I have to make the art, it may just sink the entire project. I would not be averse to another programmer as well.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, let me know. I'll get back to you and we can figure it out.

  Thanks for reading
