Billions of dollars are being made from Music streaming today but just like cryptocurrency it is still only in the 2nd inning. In the next 5 years the streaming Market will quadruple. We are in an age where artists have the ability to take control of their own careers and do not need a record label to dictate their future. Streaming has given the regular kid making music out of his basement the opportunity for the world to hear his music without being needing a major record label. But with that responsibility you now essentially become a record label on your own and just like a record label you need to account to the contributors of the music and also collect on all the revenue being made off your music. Record labels have 100's of full time finance employees making sure all these things are handled. The regular kid from down the street not only can't afford that but doesn't even know where to begin to get that going.
