You can ask questions in the IRC channel if you like, though most people there already have their own projects they're working on. It's #bitcoinj on Freenode.

Thanks Mike

I have spent a few days reading about Java, i am mainly a php/html coder with what coding experience i have, a few years ago a made a calculator with C++ lol. I am pretty much totally fresh to java, but i am a super fast learner with hands on.

I am looking for someone with experience with BitcoinJ that maybe has skype and teamviewer that wouldn't mind answering a question here or there or helping me when i get stuck. Basically what i am wanting to do is make a Java BlockChain Parser that outputs data into an SQL database. ( i am already familiar with SQL and have MSSQL enterprise server installed on my server)

I have already built the database table, and have been messing around with the examples in the bitcoinJ repository enough to have a few basic ideas as to what i need to do i just needs someone to "hold my hand" for a little bit until i get my feet underneath me.

If you would be willing to help a guy who is taking a crash course in java get his bearings, please send me a message or drop a reply in the thread. i'm using netbeans if that makes a difference

Thanks
