Yes these are so exciting movies to watch. I'm gonna watch these too. Watching movies makes me learn more than just reading it. Its better for me to see movies and action videos to learn from something especially bitcoin. Upon seeing this thread makes me happy and excited for all those movies mentioned.
I am good at movies but I am still not finding a good movie for bitcoin, those movies and documentaries that I've watched is still not good because most of it is lack of information about blockchain technology system.
Well, I am still hoping that in future they'll make some kind of movies that will meet the expectation of crypto lover. That is like many people will regret not buying bitcoin in that movie.

You're right, there are no movies that related more on bitcoin and it's flows. a lot of them are base on their experiences if they starting to know and invest bitcoin. they didn't show how could bitcoin affect our entire future. and how users interact with the market and its trend. those movies will appreciated but we find something different that relate on how traders work on market trading and invest bitcoin.

I think this movie is pretty good, I've watched it. Indeed bitcoin is better known in Deepweb because the system is anonymous and cannot be traced, there are many illegal transactions in it.

If you like The Big Bang Theory, there is an interesting episode about Bitcoin; Sheldon and his friends remembered that they mined long time ago many Bitcoins and stored them on a USP-Stick, but they can't find this USP-Stick 
Woah. I will definitely check out this episode soon. I am not particularly a fan of Big bang theory, but the synopsis of this particular episode is quite interesting. I am guessing that they will find the drive by the end, but there won't be any coins on it.Mentioned another TV show(Mr.Robot) earlier which talks about Bitcoin and crypto here and there. There are several movies related to crypto, but they are not really that popular. There was a TV show(Bitcoin and Friends) related to Bitcoin too which didn't quite take off, but it was alright in my opinion.

This is true. Some movies gives you information about bitcoin but I don't think they are focused on its technicality or benefits. They portray the negative side than the positive ones. And as a supporter of bitcoin, it's sad to know that fact.
Movies are good. We can't deny that. It's more exciting and thrilling to watch but if you are looking for informations that would really help you know bitcoin in a technical sense, I suggest articles and books. And if you're really into watching things, then documentaries are better in my own opinion.

I highly recommend The rise and rise of bitcoin and banking on bitcoin it gives you the basic Idea of bitcoin and also what kind of impacts it's making in the society in this modern era. although there more movies/documentary about bitcoin I suggest to watch these two first so you can get the gist of bitcoin.

If you're in the mood for a terrible crime thriller that mentions Bitcoin a few times, check out Crypto. It's supposed to be truly awful and as expected, unrealistic. That's the only mainstream movie I'm aware of.

I certainly wouldn't bother with any traditional movies, not that there are very many. I probably wouldn't bother with most documentaries either. They're going to have a narrow angle and be hopelessly out of date.

Well ypu should definitely watch documentaries about bitcoin. There are a lot of sources of it online to gain more knowledge and idea about bitcoin. There are movies where bitcoin is slightly part of it, so documentaries will be your best bet to learn more about crypto.
Well, I have also watched this movie that made me really enthused about Bitcoin. The movie s called "Dope" and it is about some high school boy trying to find a use case for Bitcoin. But as the general media always do, the movie is about drug transaction tho, but if you watch it with the blockchain/Crypto eyes, you wouldn't concentrate much on the drug aspect.
