Siameze, if you ever want to go the other way, i.e., my cash in the mail for your btc, let me know I might be interested.  I agree with you about Coinbase.  They closed my account for a silly reason.  Not sure how an exchange with what must be a pretty small user base can afford to be so selective about their customers.

Sure, thanks. I was doing business with a reliable guy every month from localbitcoins for cash in mail, he unfortunately stopped selling. 2 + years was a good track record for me, I hate having to do this all over again. :-/

If you have cash at hand, I'd assume you have a bank account.  Why not just use coinbase?

Cause fuck Coinbase. Smiley

Good luck finding a seller.

Pretty much this. I have had a Coinbase account in the past and there is just too high a risk of having your account closed for trivial reaons. I prefer p2p or otc type transactions whenever possible.

Kind of interested. I have questions about by-mail deals.

When is exchange rate determined? At agreement time or delivery time? (I assume you will use tracking)

What fee are you expecting?

Are you on east/west coast? What method do you use to mail? 1st class, priority, next day? Want to know how long BTC is tied up.

How much BTC?

Thanks for your reply btc-mike

My previous by mail contact was current preev price @ delivery time.

East coast here. I travel frequently but have someone doing mailings for me, I will likely use priority.

For cash-by-mail acquisitions I usually only deal ~$100.

As title says, if you are a reputable member that can offer Bitcoin sales for cash by US mail, please post in this thread.

I will only entertain offers from members with positive trust. I am looking for someone that I can buy from regularly as my local bitcoins contact has stopped selling.
