Totally Random one here LesbianCow - but are you a collector of the US Mint ATB 5oz'rs? I feel like so many collectors are still unaware they are out there. (Air-tites make by far the best capsules for the bullion version).

No as I do not like the George Washington obverse in a large size.  It's ugly to me though that is obviously personal taste.

Some of the earlier/low mintage ones have appreciated quite a bit though so maybe I missed the boat.

I have one, it was part of a large lot I bought at spot.  It is the Shawnee I believe.  If you want it it could be yours at spot price plus shipping.  It is BU in a big capsule.

I'm on the opposite side of that view, I love them! ..but I'm bit younger and have found that my tastes are very different than most of the numismatic collectors out there who are normally older in general (40's and on). Of course that's not technically old nor am I saying you're old as I have no idea!  Cheesy.

Very generous offer, thanks. I'm from IL and went to college right by the Shawnee forest so I've got several already. Puerto Rico and Hawaii are two that shot way up in value (fallen a bit of late sadly). iMO the US mint now has little sense of reality. Their coin releases have become terribly boring and mostly undesired.

I assume you're talking about the clear plastic airtites?  The cheapest place to get them is eBay.  Nobody can beat their high volume sellers on shipping.

Same quality as air-tites.com?

Yes.  I'm sure they all roll out of the same factory.

I'll definitely have to check them out thx! Not all are created equal though as I'm sure you're aware. Air-tites are of the highest quality and bn a numismatic collector for years now..I've gotten plenty of junk capsules. Air-tites also have fantastic customer service! They will do customs too if they can (unfortunately no Kialara customs hwvr Angry )

I only use airtite brand capsules and coinsafe brand tubes.  Make sure whatever you use is not pvc plastic

Im not sure what they are actually called but Im looking for a few different plastic cases for physical coins. I want to see about building a display case and need them for sizing and mock ups. Obviously i dont need them to contain coins. Anyone have a few they are willing to send me for cheap?
