Here, I'll give you an update on my "Today's Crypto Currency". It's a blog site for the recent activity of Crypto Currency. You can give feedback for my site.
Don't hijack somebody's thread if you want a review for your website. Make a new one on this board if it is related to cryptocurrency. If you want detailed feedback because your blog offers services like portfolio tracking, etc, you can run a review campaign and post it on the Services board.

You seem to be always updated with the happening news here in the cryptocurrency industry dude, at this point I think it's okay when it comes to providing news in the crypto space.
OP's last seen is around a month ago, so I doubt he needs any more feedback. For the news part, it seems like he just aggregates news from other websites, so he can run a bot that grabs articles, images, links, etc without manually uploading news articles. I've seen many websites like this in the past, but most of them no longer exist due to a lack of traffic. At the very least, OP's website offers additional features other than posting news.

But I hope you will improve the background of the platform a little more so that it is as unsightly as possible to peep the update news in crypto.

I just have to make a quick comment on the permanent dark-mode styling. I know it's a trend in more techy spaces to gravitate towards dark mode (I've worked on products where the decision makers insisted that we had to have a dark mode), but the majority of the public, and your average user, prefers a white or light background and black font. People might say they like dark mode, but statistics in web design show that sites with a lighter color scheme see longer user retention, a decreased bounce rate, etc. over primarily dark sites. There's a reason all of the top 100 websites are primarily light color-schemed.

I like the cards style of the articles on the site. Perhaps in conjunction with a light color scheme, you could add a small drop shadow to them to make them stand out well.

I totally disagree with you. I even use a widget to make dark every webpage. For people interested, the addon is named "Dark Reader"

Light mode is a mistake from my point of view. I am (with my job + personnal usage) using a computer around 10 hours minimum per day, without dark mode I would be blind right now I think. I never understood how can people not having headaches without using a dark mode to be honnest.

OP, I am still looking your website on a daily basis. Still happy when using it, but when you have time, can you please add a 1 or 4 hours timeframe on your Charts page ?
Otherwise, I particularly appreciate the Bitcoin Live page, minimalist but efficient.

Just a final point, could you tell me how you do to scrap the articles that are on the front page? I imagine that it is not done manually and that you scrap them automatically?

Thanks

Hi everyone! Here is a website I've been working on that shows crypto news, crypto graphs, and even a bitcoin explorer with live global transactions. The graphs are still elementary, but looking for feedback/  thoughts from people who like to follow crypto! Thanks

I just checked in and I must admit i kinda loved what I saw and the current updates I came across too were quite impressive. For trial, OP I am thinking of using your site as one of my  crypto updates and I promise to recommend the site to my colleagues if your  updates continue to be credible as time goes on.

It looks nice, good job!

I would like to see something more than just news on the landing page. Maybe a price widget on the left or right side of the screen.
I think the site is missing a search box and/or a way to group news according to tags. Click on the bitcoin tag to read only news related to BTC, etc.
I thought the watchlist would allow each user to modify it according to their taste, but you can't do anything with it apparently. Maybe I need to register an account first?
I noticed that the BTC price on the 'Watchlist' tab changes frequently, but the one under 'Charts' doesn't update as often, and they seem out of sync all the time. Maybe that's something you can fix.

I think you've got a simple site and it's growing in contents, but I think you need to have contact us and about us page on the website. I can't find it on the site, if it's there please make it visible, put it on the top bar, for people that wants to guestpost on your site to easily reach you and talk business. The white colors on the site that separates the posts can be changed too. So, that it can suit the background color. Also improve your content quality and run nice keyword research on your topic, so as to fetch more traffic to your site. Crypto blogs generate nice traffic and grows faster, it'll be important to provide the best to readers. The speed is fine and that's relevant in keeping visitors to read more.

This is the personal feedback and reviews on your site platform, the first impression that came to my mind is that there is something similar to Cointelegraph which seems not to be the case.

Then, I just noticed something, almost every day you have the latest update news regarding Bitcoin or cryptocurrency whether it's good or bad news. All in all, it's okay that you made this news platform, maybe my only suggestion is that instead of making your design background white, make it white so that it will be clear to those who can read it and open the platform that what you want to give floats. cryptocurrency industry news.

hey there!!

i like the appearance of the front face of your site besides that the loading is also quite fast, but what i want to ask is do you have plans to write your own articles on your site? because i see you only include links to other news sites inside and in my opinion it will be perfect if you make the article yourself Wink

Are you planning to monetize the traffic on your site? I would recommend creating your own ads with a referral or affiliate links to casinos or exchanges, that way you could get some extra income from the visits.

The site is nice, I like how simple it is and it's easy to navigate. The Explorer design is a nice one too, but I'm not sure at all what is the 'I'm feeling lucky' button for.

And one last recommendation it to hide the log in button since it's only for admin, users should reach that link.

Today I tried to open your site with my device, it's very powerful and quite responsive when I use it,
Maybe for suggestions, from the bitcoin chart and there is only a 1D 1W 1M time frame, maybe you need to make more derivatives so that it has more functions to analyze movements and there are only two coins, namely BTC and ETH, I think if everyone wants to use it market community maybe you need to add more but if only for BTC and ETH lovers I think it's enough.
In terms of appearance, the solid black color and white writing combined with gold in certain content columns is very interesting for people who like to learn on their own or are more often called introverts, like me.

Great job

I open site from my Android phone and it is so good because it is totally Mobile friendly. In the very first page it's container crypto News which open very fast and there is option where you can share directly to social Platforms.
Other option is Bitcoin chart which is well managed and giving real time price of btc and Eth. Watchlist option is available but I have not checked yet
The most shocking option is BTC live where all BTC unconfirmed tx has been shown. I realized that Every second hundred if transaction made

Suggestions:
I recommend to add In the top of very first Stage website detail and it's features.
Graph has only 1 day,1 week and year option mThere should be hourly and minute option also for graph.

If I'm to rate it over 10 then I will give it a 6.
I did navigate through the website with my mobile phone and the UI was great it has a lot of functionalities.
Although I didn't create an account so I don't know if they're other features opened to those who created an account so I guess I'll never know.
And another thing while I was using the Bitcoin explorer I click on "I'm Feeling Lucky"and it should me the balance of another  address rather than the one I inputted I'm not sure why it did that. And I also love the fact that it suggests previously checked addresses that'll will definitely save us from a lot of trouble.

The site appears to be well-organized and well-designed. It's simple to use and very quick to access. When I looked at the cryptocurrency charts, there were only two coins displayed with little information about them. You should include more information in that area; it will be extremely beneficial to obtain real-time information from visitors visiting the site for the first time in order to entice them to return again and again. I think you did an excellent job and applaud your efforts.

The site seems to be just pulling articles from everywhere. Is this done automatically I guess? Somehow I did something like this with wordpress plugins but yours is using heroku right?

In the light of SEO, your site may not gain from organic searches. You haven't created an article that is unique that can only be found on your site.
Anyway, it's clean so far there isn't an ad yet that you insert on it. How do you intend to monetize a site like this?

  - Hello mate, What is the theme and purpose of this website you made? I just want to know and like the other members here in this forum.

If I look at what you want to convey, it's good, maybe just a little fine with the design of the interface of your website platform. They must also categorize if what you will update the crypto community here on your platform is about trading, innovations of cryptocurrency, etc.

Besides the absence of a logo I recommend that you create a page for what the site is all about, it could be a page or a pop-up to fully explain what the site is all about, the most important on any site is returning visitors so I recommend if the script can, to install follow me on social account specifically for your site, and Mailchimp is offering a free plan for a subscription so having subscribers will notify your followers for new content.

Hello, I used my phone to visit your website, as seen in the screenshot,
You made it well and the view also appealed to me, but the action button is too big so it covers most of my mobile screen, my suggestion maybe you should make it a little smaller so that visitors/users using mobile phones are more comfortable.
But overall your Web design is very good and of course I am also interested in using your website to monitor bitcoin price movements
Thank you.

I thought it was an article site and you are writing these articles it's actually a news aggregator, not bad its easy to create a site like this because you don't have to provide your own content.

My recommendation are
Put your logo above  the title and tagline I notice you already have a logo because you have a favicon installed in the browser to identify your site which is good

Take down the login link it has no purpose being there

Create categories so visitors will have a choice of categories that they are interested in.

I decided to visit your site and here is my initial feedback.

On the home page, i saw some news. At first, i thought these news were written by your site authors but by clicking on them I realized that they take to the respective crypto news site. Well, it is good for anyone who wants to get glimpse of crypto news at once but I think it is not good for your site as it takes people to other sites and they won't spend time on your site. With this apporach, you may get difficult to generate revenue when you monetize your site.

My suggestion will be to read the news from those sites and try to reproduce them in your own site.

Now coming to the charts section, i thought i may get some customized charts for bitcoin but was disappointed to see charts which no real value.
Would it be good if you can include onchian charts or other charts which offer some customization, like trading view charts explaining the movement of bitcoin and ethereum?

Just take my feedback as positive, i am delighted to see that you have started the site and hope you will continuously improve it.  Smiley

The layout looks great but I just want a portion for a trending news category so that reader can determine hot news from the typical news. The format and idea is identical to cryptopanic and the only difference was you add the image per article which is great. Maybe add some feature that let reader react and comment anonymously for a possible interaction to your website.

Typically news aggregator like that display live price on the top part of the website to let reader know the crypto price while reading news since some people love to check price frequently.

@tso1009

  • I get that it's an aggregator, but you need to place different things into different categories [as things stand, videos and news/articles are grouped together (e.g. here's one)].
  • You might want to add various filters for the news tab...
  • A button to switch between day and night mode.
  • There should also be an automated system in place for getting rid of duplicate or similar content.

I think you tried to make it similar to cryptowat.ch which is a good thing because I like the interface presented on that site, but the final output was not ideal. The interface is beautiful as an idea, but the implementation still needs a lot of work. The important thing now is to focus on the content. Do you have a better way to analyze the content?
Instead of focusing on the view?

Also, the response of the site is somewhat slow.

In principle, the site is beautiful and fast to load on the browser. It has a simple and well-designed interface, but I was surprised that the news headlines are linked to external sites and not to pages within the site!!! As if you are free advertising for these news sites!!

Also for bitcoin browser it seems not to work. I pasted the address of bitcoin and TX but I didn't get any results even though it shows a message that the download is 100%!!
I waited for a longer time, but I did not get any results. I do not know if it is not complete yet, or is there something wrong?

Just from the first look it seems like an interesting site but might need some improvements.

A few things I recommend:

The interface itself is a bit lacking in the user experience design area. I would add some "sneak peeks" or summed-up information whenever you hover your cursor over the news, charts, etc. area on the right top side. Also, right top? Seems a bit out of place. Our eyes naturally go to the first thing on the left. Furthermore, whenever you click on an article it opens a new tab. That is a bit irritating. On the bottom you should put FAQ, contact info, social media links and so on.

When you click the articles, it sends you to different news sites? No original content? Not sure how that is going to be viewed by the original writers, especially if you do not have permission to use their articles.

Honestly, it's well-organized, and I like its interface too. It doesn't hurt my eyes or vision, this is just my opinion. What is it, are you one of the creators of this website or are you part of the team that created it?

But even so, if I look at this site platform that you provided, it is like a type of crypto news platform, with other features that are also shown to the community here on the forum. But I think it still needs a little repair and improvement to be perfect.

I must admit that the site looks interesting, has minimal design and works quite fast. it certainly seems that it is still unfinished and there are still many possibilities for upgrading.
I have to ask you what is the main goal you want to achieve with this site. do you actually want to make a portfolio where you show your developer skills or is it still a training ground for testing knowledge from React and Node.js?
not sure why you need a news page, adding new news requires a lot of additional work, and the competition is extremely high. rather focus on other things, a more functional explorer and be more user-friendly.

edit: here is a good example that a site can be interesting as a service without news. Check bitmover's site https://bitcoindata.science/index.html

Here are some suggestions to make your website a bit more clean looking. As it is now, it's not bad but there are room to improve.
And clicking on any news opens up a new tab which for me is a bit annoying.
You can put a preview of the news and then add a button in the end of it maybe saying Read more or View full story
like this Read more
Hope this help.
