I'm a U.S. qualified attorney and partner at a popular crypto-focused law firm that I founded almost right of law school. Since last year, I have been working on a new project, which is slowly starting to materialize: Crypto Pro Bono. In a nutshell, I would like to build an online platform very similar to go fund me that enables individuals to create and participate in their own funding campaigns. The major difference is that all donations would be in crypto. The platform would be completely free to use (excluding fees associated with network transactions). Therefore, the platform will heavily rely on donations to get it start. I've created a teaser website in a few hours to start spreading the idea around: https://www.cryptoprobono.com/ . I'm aware there are sections of the website that still need to be completed.

My question to the community is as follows: what do you think about the idea of creating a crowdfunding platform for the people and causes you care about? Is that something the community could benefit from? I'm curious to start a dialogue with many of you and implement your ideas to make it a community driven project.

Thank you.
