Hello, Enigmo. I have recently started mining some alternate coins to get into the crypto game. I read a lot on this forum and other places about wallets, miners and transactions before doing any downloading. I also had no real experience with writing code lines or making my own batch files or anything like that. What I did find was a lot of info already assembled on the web from people doing the work before me. I downloaded a couple different mining programs to try and a couple of different coin wallets.

I started with GUIMiner as I thought it would be the easiest for a beginner to use, but I could not get the settings right. I then moved on to CGMiner and did research on making batch files to run the miner. I am not going to lay it all out here, but there are some good tutorials on writing some code and tuning your set-up to work with whichever miner you choose. Granted, it may be a little confusing at first, as it was to me, but with a little time and patience, you can get through it.

I suggest using your preferred search engine and look for instructions for specific miners. There are also some videos online about doing it as well.

Good Luck

Hi there,
this is my first post and I am completely new in the world of cryptocurrencies. English is not my first language so, try to bear with me. I am really interest in mining some alt coin, such as Quark and Stablecoin.
However, I am having problems to find an easy software to use. Everything I download it is not working or it requires code strings that, I admit, I don't really understand.

I tried to search some old topics on this forum but everything looks very "direct" such as "download CGminer and you should be good". Well, that is not enough for me Tongue

Please, help me out. I appreciate your help!

Thanks
