I understand the risks involved. but if you check the company I mentioned, there are 3 people on board of directors (one lives inside UK, while the other two live in Bahrain and Iran) if anyone thinks we would risk jail time to get 10k worth of mining gear from someone, then they might as well ignore this thread completely and invest in buying the coins from an exchange instead of a mining operation of their own.

If you understand the risk then why invite people to invest in your company, obviously, no one will invest, why would they? you have no guaranty that you will not run away, you are thousand of miles away from your potential investors, if you run, they will have to travel just to sue, if you want investors then invite people who are near your location so they can see you in person.

There are plenty of people who are willing to invest in such projects. The power in Iran will probably not be expensive. The biggest problem, however, is trust. Typically, people are only trusted who have built a reputation or who have connections with people who are also trustworthy. It is difficult to find someone who wants to work with this project. What guarantees are there? Nobody is calling a terrorist here, but people are skeptical and careful.

If they are going to invest on iran mining they will do it physicality and have a legal documents presented to them not something like this where he only post some details then rest is questionable. I have bad feelings about this offer and crypto newbies should be aware that mining is kinda not profitable option. If we really want the mining idea better buy some rigs and mine those bits for yourself.

I would not invest with the OP. He is saying his family is part of a group in Iran that is sanctioned by the US. If I am understanding what the OP is saying correctly, anyone sending the OP money is violating US sanctions, and is potentially funding terrorism.
you're not understanding what I meant to say. what I meant was that I have enough connections to secure the operation won't get shut down by the Iranian government.
You said:
also, no one is going to send any money to Iran (they will invest in a UK company) so its not a violation of US sanctions.
It sounds to me like anyone "investing" with you is sending money to someone connected to the Iran government. At a minimum, anyone considering sending you money has the potential to be funding terrorism.
Im not in that organization. I just know people who are.
also, again, no one is sending money to Iran so there are no issues with sanctions.

what it "sounds" to you is really irrelevant here. I'd suggest you stop calling people terrorist online willy nilly. but I guess you are very desperate for the PC points.. so go off, I guess.

but either way, its not a big deal if I don't find any partners or investors here. I just thought it couldn't hurt to post here about it as well.

but just out of curiosity, what would constitute "convincing information" in this case? just so I know how can I improve the "pitch" sort of speaking.
~

if trust is still an issue, I guess we can build trust over time by starting a small eth farm first and once that has paid for itself (over here it will be about 6 to 8 months, depending on gear) the investment will be fully returned (basically mining rewards getting forwarded entirely to investor -minus operational costs which would be minimal here compared to all other countries-) as a way of building trust for a bigger project around btc.

Not that simple. the offer might really be that tempting but i could still say that no one on this forum would tend to sent out gears randomly on people on the net without any assurances.

Verbals wont be enough and it doesnt make any guarantees. If you are really serious on mining activity for some start up then why wouldnt you take a loan or

try to find out local investors instead and you might find one that might fund you up and then expanding the business will be your next target which
you can already show that there's already someone who had trust you up or simply does already operate.

What you do need? Show off some proofs that you do own a company registered in UK which you had mentioned earlier. People would just typically ignore these kind of verbal business proposals
because there's no assurance into its investors. The thing you had only said is about those Mining activity and some crypto related projects which you didnt even bother to mention.

You have said on transferring their mining rigs or machines on Iran to take some mining or handling it out to other people? Imagine the cost alone of shipping is not something appealing.
I would rather mine alone or solely in our attic. hehe

Show off proofs if you are really serious with this.

I'm fully aware that it seems fishy, but anyone who is interested in a partnership can easily look me up on instagram (@mrlinorth) or check my telegram channel (@TradingWithLinorth) which is over 5 years old now.. so I'm not sure what else I can show that would be more legit without sharing passport photos! haha

but to prove the company thing, you can look up Linorth Ltd on gov.uk website to see it https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/12550046(although this is the company I use for distribution of my educational material and my signal service. if I find a serious business partner I'm open to forming another company altogether)

the rest of the projects I didn't share anything about are more like plans for future once the farm is in operation and will need to be discussed with the future partner. but besides the decentralized exchange, I also have some cool ideas for using NFTs on ETH POAP protocol as a way of adding a multi-level marketing element in the process of selling educational material (basically allowing the students of each course -who earn the badge of attendance- a legal right to market the course to others for a commision on the sales) which can become a whole profitable business on their own.

but for now, I'm more focused on getting a decent farm going and then shift to other projects in crypto space.

Hello,

I'm an Iranian foreign exchange trader looking for investors for starting a mining farm in Iran. (more info about me: https://www.quora.com/profile/Bahman-RasoulPour-Linorth and linorth.com)

Iran has the cheapest electricity in the world and I have enough connections in the body of local government (my relatives are part of that organization within Iran that is on a bad list by US) to keep the farm secure from real life problems (closing down, confiscation by gov. etc)

I intent to not only start a farm in Iran but also add bitcoin-based projects that go along with it (already own timechainwallet, timechaincoin and timechaintoken, itimechain, timechainx and timechaindex all in dotcoms as I plan to name the farm and underlying projects -decentralized exchange- Timechain )

The investment process will take place via my company in UK (technically you will be investing in a UK based company. but the operations will be based inside Iran.)

For more info you can contact me here or on quora and twitter (@Linorth) or via ticket system on my website Linorth.com.

Thanks for your time and attention.

Regards
-Linorth

I doubt you can possibly get an investor here, you are newbie and yet you are seeking for funds on your mining farm which we people know that its kinda not so profitable on some case or it is always used for scamming. Better post more convincing information since many will doubt to grab this kind of offer since in the first place this is shady place to put their money in.

Yes I understand the new account here will seem shady which is why I linked my more well known accounts on other platforms in my post. I've been very active in FX space and have a decent reputation there.

Also, I'm not necessarily looking for funds per say.. the investment could also be in form of business partnership (basically providing mining gear -like relocating your own gear to Iran to take advantage of cheap electiricity.

Also I have a company registered in UK so everything will happen via that company, so its not like I'm asking people to send money to a nation not regulated by FATF and hope for the best Grin
