Not everybody, but the non-reversible, semi-anonymous nature of bitcoin makes it a haven for scammers.

Vod seems to think everybody on this forum is a scammer. I guess the old folks get scammed the most huh?

This always seems to happen.  A scammer gets exposed, then SUDDENLY they have received everything they want, all without blockchain proof, and our help is no longer needed.

He told me during my chat that TF had already invested as well. I even said something like "TradeFortress has invested? That's reassuring" (unfortunately I have no logs as his chat system is quite poorly made and deletes lines above when there are more than five) and he did nothing to clear up that misunderstanding.

Never said he gave money.  We were on the verge of completing the deal but he went offline.  Never implied nor insinuated he already sent the 10 BTC.  If he had, I'd just provide a link to blockchain.

I just pm'd TF about this as well. He said he has given the guy no money but was "considering investing 10BTC." This makes me think the OP is even more shady, as he's implying TF has already sent the 10 BTC and is using that to verify his worthiness.

I was just pointing out the problems with your investment request if you turned out to be legitimate; Vod is pointing out the more serious problems that could result if you turn out to be lying.

@kopipe, many gambling site owners / managers don't program - to be an entrepreneur you don't NEED to know how to program.

However, it is helpful.  Regardless, I have a dev that's responsive and willing to help.  He's smart too.

It's trivial to fake a screencap using your browser's developer tools. I am not saying that you would do that, but until he confirms his investment nothing is certain.

I already have an ad set-up with inputs.io, and am speaking with multiple other sites about advertising.  My marketing plan is not an issue..  It's great.

Also, you can boast about how wonderful node.js is, but just-dice is the ONLY site that uses it.

All right, I talked to this guy and I want to tell people to take extreme caution when investing in this site.

TheCape is not the developer of the code. He bought it from someone on this forum and does not know much about programming, or mathematics for that matter.

It's very slow and all of the updates to chat, balance and etc. work by using JavaScript setInterval() instead of a more modern approach like Web Sockets. Not good for a site just launching today.

I tried to tell him one of the benefits of Socket.io (betting bots) and he told me he wouldn't want people using bet bots on the site anyway because he was afraid of betting strategies. Which legitimate casino is afraid of betting strategies? He told me dooglus told him of a betting strategy where you bet one satoshi than 1BTC to raise your balance. That worked out well for celeste, didn't it?

Further, it offers nothing not found in JustDice/Primedice and all the author did was vaguely allude to his marketing strategy. I believe he might think he has a good one, otherwise he wouldn't have bought this site. However, if it actually is a good plan is anyone's guess.

He also told me TradeFortress invested 10BTC with him. I don't think this was true, but if it is, I would like if he could confirm it. (I also sincerely hope he did not use money from Coinlenders investors on this site )

Obviously the more invested that bigger max bet is allowed which usually means faster profit for both the investor and myself, however, I do have  minimum amount in mind.

Believe me, I'd do that if I could.  However, the site is already developed and I have a demo uploaded for any prospective investors to navigate through and test.

Since I have invested in actual sites, you should try use as much capital as you have. A vps is like $20 for a month, and a domain is $10 for a year. Then after you prove the market for your site, then people should invest. Your method of raising capital before deploying is very shady.
