John Robb posted today about another person in Argentina setting up a mining farm.

You can see it here

Hey, I'm part Argentinean. PM me and I'll give you my aol, gmail address and you can message me whenever you've got a question. I've run a few rigs and enjoyed tweaking them out. I sold my stuff and now I just buy bitcoins at market, but I kinda miss mining.

Payment isn't needed. There's a lot of people here willing to help for free. I'll get you going.

Welcome.

Hi there everybody,

I am new to mining and I would like to get started, but I don't really consider myself an expert in computers or GPU optimization, etc. I wonder if anyone would like to partner with me to help build a mining rig and operate it. I would buy the computer and get it setup with linux or windows or whatever, but then I would need an expert to help me configure it. I would like help also in determining the right GPU to buy.

I am based in Argentina and electricity is really cheap here. We have government subsidies for our electric consumption.

Some alternatives for compensation for my future partner:

1. Payment of X bitcoin. (i.e. you name your fee)
2. I pay you a small % of what I mine (maybe 5% or so).
3. If you want to run your own mining rig here in Argentina, I can buy the equipment for you and you can run it side by side with mine. When you don't want to run it anymore for any reason, you just let me know and I will sell it for you on Mercadolibre (our version of ebay). I will pay the electricity for you for the first 6 mo or so. After that you pay. (Costs for an entire house here are like $30 USD per month, so I don't think it will be so much).

Anyway, please let me know if you are interested in helping. I think it probably makes sense to take advantage of this now while it is still possible to mine and recover the cost of the equipment in a short time.
