In my opinion, most coins do not have transaction fees, but those who have transaction fees are those exchanges that have transaction fees, so choose a transaction that has a transaction fee that is slightly smaller than the others, but if the coin does not have a fee, I don't know

With 0 fee is Nano, i use it a lot and has no feewm when send, but when you buy it from exchanges, they have fee and there was also IOTA with no fee as i know, try one and see which is better for you.
I also used Nano before and there's no fee when transferring that coin not sure if there's other coin aside from this two that's mentioned, you need
to try both and see which one will be fits for your needs in terms of transferring small amount or if you are also going to transfer big amounts of
crypto to another persons/wallets.

When was that? Around what time did you make use of Bitcoin to do transaction and got charged up to $5 as transactions fees

I joined the Bitcoin Forum Date Registered:    May 20, 2011, 01:39:52 PM  after listening to Steve Gibson talk about Bitcoin.

Sadly all I wanted from Bitcoin was to use it Sad not invest.

But it did work. There were fees but I forget what percentage.

When was that? Around what time did you make use of Bitcoin to do transaction and got charged up to $5 as transactions fees? It depends what time, cause the last time I remember that fees got so high as that was in 2017 when the price of cryptocurrency was very high. The fees for transaction becomes cheap whenever the price is low. Maybe you should continue making use od IOTA, though one thing I don't really like about most of these coins is that you will hardly find anyone or stores that accepting them, and also you wouldn't see any of these big wallets accepting it, that's another thing. If you're actually sending money to your friends and family, then tell them to be making use of the same wallet just as you, that way you wouldn't be charged for transactions, with wallets like Coinbase, Xapo and Luno. That's the only ones i can remember.

The last time I checked, the median fee was somewhere around $2.40. A few days back, the range was between $5 and $6. And I agree that for smaller transactions this can be very significant. But in your case, you have taken a wrong approach to resolve the issue. Converting to another coin is not the solution. What will happen if the coin goes down by 20% in a few hours (trust me, it happens to a lot of altcoins)?

There are many things to consider while transferring value from one person to another. One of them is the commission for exchange.
You buy crypto for fiat, you just can't buy any crypto, you have to select from a few. Same is the fate when cashing it out.
You can't just send any unknown coin and give the receiver trouble exchanging it.
if that happens, maybe the transaction will not be canceled. and sent coins will be lost and cannot be processed. most cases of mistranslations occur like that. start carefully with what we do. if you can't, then we have to learn or ask.

if that coin dont have a fee, so who will paid a server, paid a service, paid a worker.
i really don't understand what you think with 0 fee.

I don't think there are 0 fee coin, because after every time we send or transact, there will be a fee.
if the payment isn't there, then I'm worried whether the coin is indeed a coin that can be bought or only a useless coin.
However 0 fee are very impossible for me.

As far as I know, only IOTA has transactions without fees. But after entering the exchange you will definitely be exposed to a fee transaction.
Maybe you can outsmart it by converting to other cheaper coins so that the costs are also cheap.

there is steem, it is without fee for transactions, and you can send as small as 0.001 STEEM to anybody, without transaction fee
of course, you can send larger amounts

Are you telling me that you paid $5 as network fee for a $10 transaction or what, I dint think that can ever be bitcoin network fee, even if transaction was done during congestion, there is no way you can have bill of $5 for network fee, I guess the third party platform you used must have a fixed price of charge on a transaction. Well, if you are still considering cheap transaction fee, I think Ethereum too is quite cheap too, we have some other projects that claim to have zero fees, but better you use one that is reliable and would not hang your transaction for too long or disappear your transaction into thin air.

I think you can still try stellar too, for now they are still very much reliable and they have very low fee too compared to other ones. Aside bitcoin and Ethereum, I think the best of them would be EOS, so you can check that out too.

You can use the tron, if you freeze the coins, you can get energy and bandwidth, it will give the opportunity to send coins without commission.

Doge, NEO, XLM, and a few other coins have almost negligible fees comparatively.  Well, I believe with time more improved blockchain architectures for extremely fast and zero fee transactions will be enacted. Crypto space really need this.
If there is a crypto with zero fee transactions, staking and mining will be pointless unless the crypto has unlimited supply of token to reward the people who stakes and mining. The problem is that people are participating to stakes and mine because they got reward and without that we can't verify the block that containts transaction.

The cheapest for me is doge or litecoin especially at Mercatox or kucoin. Bitcoin fees are killing. Some exchanges charge as high as 8usd which I consider outrageous. I understand Stellar(xlm) is cheap too although I am yet to try out their transaction and exchange withdrawal fees

The only two coins I've known that offer no transaction fees are Nano and Banano, Banano is a fork of Nano, transactions are fast these two coins will progress in terms of adoption, in the future so better include these two coins in your portfolio.

BTC fees is much higher than other altcoins, i suggest always use NEO (no fee) you can use also  1- XLM, 2-XRP 3-LTC, these are available in  almost all exchanges , you will see low fee for sending funds.

There are many very low transaction fee tokens even on exchange. You can go on those exchanges to find more types of tokens.

Good luck to you!!

I actually used Bitcoins in the beginning to sends $10 there. And Pay $5 there. But Fees killed this.
You have to use your own wallet with own private key. You can control fee want you want, but it will about scaling time to transfering to other wallet. Exchange will geting fee for transfering 50k-100k satoshi.

This Send $10 and send $5, but pay high fees nonsense is a Roger Ver misinformation shill. I still send $5 a lot and yes, lately fees were high but even if I paid 10 satoshi per byte, which was good enough for a few hours in a high mempool, I still only paid 1450 satoshi in fees. That's only like 15 cents. Most of the time I only pay 150 satoshi fees or something, which even a faucet gives me.

There will be nothing free for all, what you do to send transactions will be charged, because these costs are used for the benefit of the miners or the people who own them. so don't ever look for anything for free to do any transaction, there are only low fees that can be made to make transactions, not free. Bitcoin is very well known with its high fee, moreover when withdrawing or other transactions. You must analyze the lower fees. For the no-fee coin, I still don't find it except transferring the coins from their original platform to exchange. but for coins from the exchange to exchange, I think it is better to convert them into XRP or XLM that have low fees.

You can also use NEO...
They have a fee to pay but you dont need to worry as you will get more than the fee you need to spend.
By having your NEO coins on youe NEP-5 wallet (NEON WALLET) you will earn GAS which you can use as your transfer fee.
The transfer rate is really fast and you can also sell your free gas.

There are no free things today. We should pay for the things we want.
But this is one feature of some crypto, even you want to pay the fee per transfer you do but if they have that kind of feature, you're all good. Some local exchanges are doing this just for specific transfers within their platform.

Paying is not all about money, we pay using our efforts or by working. Having a coin is not easy we should pay money or effort.
Are you sure of what you are saying? paying is not about money? and everyone should pay either money and effort? how can someone pay effort? paying is always through something that has monetary value. And as for crypto's that has this kind of feature of having no fee, there is.

I think it's impossible if you are looking for coins that have no fees for transactions, because in every transaction we usually have to pay miner fees
But you can find coins with cheap miner fees, I suggest you use DOGE if you want to get a very cheap transaction fee

If you are close to your clients to recommend them anycoin, go for Lightning network. You can transfer coins with a 1 satoshi fees and many of the sites now directly accept bitcoins from Lightning network but even if they don't, you can accumulate and withdraw to regular bitcoin with regular fees.
maybe now only the network of lightning networks can make a coin fee, but the coin fee may only be good for sending large amounts. for small shipments it is still not recommended.
it's actually a natural thing if there is a coin fee because of all the exchanges there are coin fees

Why not send money with paypal as friends and family?   Then you have zero fees and can reverse your transaction if something goes wrong.

DAG is different than blockchain and i suggest you learn about how it works. You should not feel worried about that because the mechanism of DAG is not the same as blockchain that used miners as validators.

I do it first time before need to change. I change my coin and withdraw then convert again in wallet. Some altcoins convert to fee near zero.
You changed/converted your coin? and then withdrew it without paying any fees? what you told us is lack of. When we convert with exchanges or built in exchanges to our wallets, there's always a fee that we have to shoulder.

I stopped using btc as a means of transfer long ago. I use either doge, Ethereum, Neo or any other coins/tokens with lesser fee. Transferring with btc is expensive and time consuming in a way. There are some tokens/coins that are pretty fast. You can try using xlm too. It's pretty fast and it  takes lesser transaction fee.

Steem has virtually no fees at all and transactions only take around 3 seconds to confirm.
Quite a few exchanges have Steem/BTC trading pairs, so you should have no issue exchanging them.

On Bittrex, the fees on Steem withdraws are negligible btw.

Definitely exchanges will charge you for fee, it happens everytime you withdraw your money from them. But we need clarification from OP if he'll do personal wallet to wallet transactions.
