Terima kasih atas minat tuan.
STATUS OF EXCHANGE PLATFORM
Maishince Exchange Platform is basically a decentralized exchange platform that enables investors/ traders of cryptocurrency to trade/ exchange the cryptocurrencies. In simple term, it is like the available stock exchange trading platform which allows the public or users to trade/ exchange the cryptocurrencies in accordance to the Shariah perspective. Therefore, Maishince Platform itself is a technology which is lawful from the Shariah perspective. This is based on the principle where everything is deemed permissible unless there is a prohibition mentioned in the sources of Shariah whether explicitly or implicitly.
Shariah is therefore neutral with regards to Maishince Platform which functions merely as a platform. Shariah will look at how the platform is used and for what purposes; hence this is dependent upon the usage or purposes of business activity performed on the platform.
In view of the fact that the Maishince exchange platform intended to become Shariah Compliant exchange platform, Amanie will apply the Shariah Screening Methodology that need to be adhere as follows: –
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES OF THE COMPANY
It is permitted to perform trading/ exchanging of cryptocurrencies provided:
The Company’s objectives and principal activity are permissible under Shariah; and the means, the contracts and the mechanism to exercise these activities are permissible under Shariah. NON-SHARIAH BUSINESS ACTIVITIES
Impermissible business activities include all prohibited products, transactions, contracts and services irrespective of whether the Company is involved in their production, marketing, transporting, selling and buying or is acting as an intermediary in these activities.
The following is a non-exhaustive list of non-Shariah business activities:
Conventional banking
Conventional insurance
Gambling
Liquor and liquor-related activities
Pork and pork-related activities
Non-halal food and beverages
Shariah non-compliant entertainment
Tobacco and tobacco-related activities
Interest income from conventional accounts and instruments (including interest income awarded arising from a court judgement or arbitrator)
