One guy on a different forum he was saying that it has cancer and need money for surgery,i almost gave him 1 bitcoin, but i stayed, let me Google about him to see if hes a lair or not...and guess what?he was a lair and scammed a lot of people. So i can say Google save my bitcoin.I never tried to scam people!

People claiming to have cancer or be ill are always red flags. If you had cancer would you be on forums begging for a little bit of cash?

I've been scammed with conventional currencies more often than with BTC.

I'll probably get scammed again, not because I'm gullible, stupid or greedy but because I am usually willing to give the benefit of the doubt and I never invest/give more than I am willing to lose to someone I have no way of tracking down.

And before I get inundated with donation requests and investment schemes let me reiterate: I'm not stupid and I almost never give to charity organizations, preferring to help people I have actually met in person.

I'm also clean, so count me in if you wish.

Looking around sometimes, it does feel like a scammer and lowlife shithole once a while indeed, can't argue with that.
If money corrupts people, Bitcoin is the next best example to Wall Street I can think of. I guess however, money just attracts corrupt people like a honeypot, wherever you place one. Hence the pile-up.

I've only been scammed once for 0.1BTC and then I learned, I would never scam anyone Tongue
I'm working online from almost 4years..! and I got scammed many times in first 2years..! I have seen even the people I trusted blindly scammed me and in those 2years I learned many precious lessons and I looked at those scam as my learning fee for those precious lessons.
Never got scammed with bitcoins till now, and I hope it will remain this way..!
and as far as we talk about being a scammer I would never ever do something which i don't want happening back to me.

OP hasn't been around long enough. Or has not used Bitcoin enough. The more you use it the more likely you will get scammed at some point - just like fiat. I was scammed out of 500 BTC back when they were $8.

Sometimes, when reading in this forum I ask myself if I am the only here who never scammed anyone for bitcoins and never was scammed for bitcoins.  Cry

I hope that's not the case. There have to be more. Can we please start counting.

Nope, never, and it's probably the majority too. It's just the vocal minority who need to let off steam when something bad happens.

Oh yes! Except buying a few altcoins, when I shoulda known better. The first time that greed blinded my judgement, and it came back to bite me.

tried arbitrage a while back with Gox, but just took my coins out when I realized no wires were coming...still I had to buy the coins
back at the peak when it was not ideal, so although i wasnt technically scammed for bitcoins, i probably lost like $1000
in paying too much
