I depends on which asset. Is it a script, models, animations... ? Depending on this I'll be able to help you or not. I discover myself as "quite good" in Unreal Engine 4, but also "not so good" at Unity, so my potential help will basically depends on what you are looking for to repurpose.

I can help you with that. Either of your rigs are well suited to get this job done.

Last question. Are you capable of taking apart a scene and asset pack made for and saved in UNITY and re-purpose it for UE4 ?

Basically you need to know more about Unity and UE4 than I do.

What I wanted you to explain to me was about Hairworks. I don't know what it is, even if I think this about fur and hairs.

I have 2 PCs :

First :

• i5-3570k @3,40 GHz
• NVidia GTX680 2 Gb GDDR5
• 8 Go of RAM

Second :

• i7-4970k @3,60 GHz
• NVidia GTX770 2 Gb GDDR5
• 16 Go of RAM

The fiirst can handle the work, but if he's too weak, I have still the second .

Rendering in Matinee is very simple you can easily find host of training tuts about it on Epic's website / youtube etc.

But the question is : Do you have Hairworks ready UE4 ?
Hairworks is not natively supported you must download the source files of both hairworks and UE4 and compile them in VS to get the editor working.

Secondly could you post your specs of the hardware you have ?

I'd really like to help, but unfortunatly Matinee is maybe the only part in Unreal Engine 4 that I know nothing about . But maybe if you can explain me, I can render it with my NVidia GPU.

I have a simple character animated for 22 minutes in a 3Ds max scene.
The character has a lot of furs which I have Implemented with Nvidia Hairworks and exported properly. Including the animation.

What I need :

Someone generous to help me with this student project at a low cost.

I need someone to take the content of this pack : https://www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/photorealistic-mountain-pack  (I will buy it)
AND
Create a simple scene where my character is flying in the scene for 22 minutes (animation already done and exported from Max)

It's a simple scene specifics will be given to the chosen person.

You must :

Have Hairworks compiled with UE4 4.7.xx (or the latest Hairworks supported release)

Be able to render this 22 - 25 minute long video through Matinee and provide individually layered video files (multi pass files)
Eg : 1 Video with just the grass, 1 Video with just the shadows, 1 Video with just the Model and so on.

Render must be of the highest quality, I have already learned a lot about UE4 in a short while from watching videos and reading manuals but I am no expert, you must be patient with me and explain things that I don't understand - I'll have to explain the scene to my teacher. The only reason I can't do this myself is because I have not used UE4 extensively and I have a crappy computer.

Most importantly you must complete this within a week from the day I assign you the task.

I am looking for the cheapest price. Please remember my pocket is not deep, no parents money, I will be paying you with my scholarship money so please quote me a moderately.


I can pay by Bitcoin by having someone experienced / respected here on the forum to act as the escrow or we can use Upwork/ Elance / Freelancer. In any case I am willing to escrow the full amount but payment will only be released after job completion.
