I also am quite new running 2 6950s right now. you will easy get 330mhash sec w one card. I unplugged my old 5770 put the new 6950 in and with a >10min install of ati drivers was up and running and mining in no time. I personally am purchasing my cards from a local computer vender which warranties the card for 30 days personally then will handle all warranties for me if anything were to happen. I prefer this over the online purchasing method due to the fact that i can service my computer immediately if anything goes wrong instead of waiting 10+ days downtime for replacement parts if needbe. my first 5770 was doa so it has already paid off by using my local vendor. assuming u have a local vendor that can closely compete with online prices. Smiley good luck

I bought a 1gb Powercolor 6950 when it was dirt cheap from Amazon under 170 and have so far paid it off by about 1/3 already, honestly no game has so far been able to bog it down that I have and the temps are just ridiculously low @ 25-28C idle and 74-77 Full load overclocked by 67 Mhz.... even all day mining.I would recommend any card that has a twin fan design to keep the card cooler for overclocking as most should perform about the same unless you plan to unlock the shaders.

I bought it originally for the upcoming Skyrim game and to mine a bit in the meantime to pay off the card AND the game by release and should meet that goal with something to spare.I get about 350-360 Mh /s as I choose not to unlock my card......if unlocked over 400 Mhash seems attainable if the card can handle the overclock of a 6970.

I've been mining with a 4850 for about three weeks. I think I'll switch it out but I'm not sure.

Just curious is this going to be your first card for mining as in first and only? or do you already have another rig and just adding to it.

What kind of Mhash/s are you guys getting with that card? Are you overclocking it?

I get around 380Mhash/s on mine.

I'm looking for a graphic card for gaming, and figure I'll Bitcoin mine to help pay for it. Maybe even profit. I'll be overclocking the card. I have narrowed down the list to the 2gb 6950, but I'm not sure which card to get. Here is the list from Newegg. Any suggestions? (Wish I could post this in the hardware section)
