It's always the scammers that get angry about simple things like safe practices and basic rules.

It doesn't matter why you're here...Your game is too weak.

Step it up...

I'd hate for you to start smashing things over 75$
I smashed for less. Tongue

CONMAN #1 is still lurking here isn't he?

He will get what is coming to him in due time.
And it won't be any btc from me. Let me tell you that right now!
Maybe from the other no sense in the head loser who keep giving him their paypal or btc. But not me! Wink

I find it funny that the scammer himself came in this thread talking some more shit on your OBVIOUSLY BOUGHT ACCOUNT lmao.. Also find it pretty hilarious that right after that 0x100 guy posted Quickseller came on his high horse to defend his shill Cheesy  The bought legend accs and scammer shills of this forum give me a good laugh every day  Tongue

Hi I'm new to the site & currently seeking bitcoin in exchange for Paypal. I am open to offers from reputable members ONLY. All offers greatly appreciated. I'm looking to buy around $75 btc. I can send you the Paypal Mycash code from the reload I purchased or load my own account & send a xfer to you, whatever you prefer. Please contact me via this post or pm.. Thx in advance for the replies.

Are you familiar with the basics of logic ? what you are asking violate these basics.

I am trusted and will sell you but I will need a GPG signed contract along with a selfie holding your ID (I'll assess if it is sufficienly legible) and a sign showing the wallet receiving address and the date and time.

As noted - all the risk is on the SELLER.

Welp, I continue to only receive pm's from junior Members & while I'm able to retrieve their post history it's not enough since there is hardly any trade history. This is the user who sent me that pm as well.

& go figure I had imagined it was nothing more than a scam.
Another member by the name JumperN had me convinced until I found a scam accusation deep in his history of posts. Lucky for me my paypal xfer didn't go thru the 1st time & I was able to come across that thread before attempting again. He was extremely convincing @ 5% to say the least & was even patient about an escrow...

"I charge 5% fee for the trade so for $75 PP you get $71.25 BTC and for an escrow you can search for one and I will also do the same."

I recently received this PM in response to this post...Can anyone make sense of this ? Is this some scammer tactic or what am I missing?? Thx for any advice.

Message~your paypal email ? I'll send a receipt to your email and you pay. and then I'll release the coins. If you are ok with this, we'll move forward.
Also, my price is preev+10%, which is 990USD/BTC

Probably a scam - bet its not from a trusted member here.

First you need to findout if the other person is trustworthy, if not use an escrow like Paxful or Localbitcoin or you can use an escrow here and only send first to people you deem trustworthy and won't scam you from their trade history.

I have only tried to offer you help and solutions.

It is not my fault you are not capable of being assisted.

By your responses I now know you're not a safe trader, even if your intentions are benign...your emotion alone is enough of a risk to avoid trading with you.

Sucks to be you doesn't it?
Your help is worth shit.

There are no trusted people here to deal with paypal.
And i should know I have seen all the sorts over 1 and half years of being in this shithole
and look where it has ended.
Too many scammers and their alt accounts roaming around here.

I have found a new place where it is free from the filth that continue to taint this forum.
They prey on the fools and their are plenty here that don't know any better.

OP- you can ignore fortify, I don't know much about him but based on a quick look at him, he is a troll and a spammer.

You probably are not going to be able to buy BTC for PayPal funds. I would suggest that you withdraw to your bank account then offer to buy BTC with western union or another payment method that is not reversible.

Apparently 0x0010 admitted to being an alt of Quickseller, so it looks like he's up to those old scamming tricks again and it was a shill account scam.

You can't take a joke, can you?

Sent this to TimeLord to show that quick seller himself didn't know me. https://m.imgur.com/PNXJ93X,BdpomB2
Check the timestamp.

Shill account scam? I was just saying that not all newbies are fucking scammers but you decide to tarnish my reputation and leave a falsified negative mark.

Funny. If I wanted to scam via PayPal, why would I do it for a measly $75? I've done trades for twice as much and I've got a $60 deal being done via escrow soon. Get a life man

Yes Princess, it sucks to be a person who's only objective everyday they wake up is to get online & troll people.. & for the record you know nothing. To accuse me of not being a safe trader is low. You know nothing about me. If I had a month to acquire btc I could surely prove all the trolls wrong & establish a legit rep on bitcointalk.timeoutsgalore but I dont have a month princess.. So you are completely outta line to continue harassing & a throwing sh*t @ the wall to see what sticks. You know so much about emotions,so how much paypal would you accept to read my palm??

Listen up kids.

Throwing tantrums and pointing fingers and general acts of shitshowing never make for successful business. It also makes you look like someone who's scam has been revealed.

Successful traders are patient, polite and generally don't cry in public.

Tell you what.

If you pay me $75 in paypal...I will pay a trusted escrow to hold the $75 btc for the 1 year charge-back period and then release it to you if no charge-back has occurred. I will give positive trust at the end of the 1 year period.

Fair enough? That way nobody gets screwed.

Someone does get screwed. Him. He has to wait one year for $75. Do you think through the logic when you post something?

Why don't you sell him BTC for paypal then?

Looking at 0x0010's feedback perhaps they could use quickseller for Escrow  Grin Grin

omg you're so funny can u teach me pls

I found a seller just waiting for an escrow. I know, I know, I'll never find one right? Just like I'll never find a buyer? Just dumb A narcissistic individuals w/ no interest in online forums except to troll & create hell for noobs trying to get their feet wet. Well fyi I'm not a noob & I've been around the block when it comes to this type of stuff & find it absolutely comical the feedback I've received so far. No escrow will accept this trade for all the reasons listed here. It just means the escrow would lose money as well as the btc seller. Unless you're willing to wait a year for the funds to be released (as there is a time limit on payment reversals). Nobody reputable is going to take the trade, as many people have been scammed by this in the past.

To be quite frank there is actually no need if I find the seller to be reputable enough. Escrow is just more hoops to jump thru for this simple transaction & tbh I'm so sick of reading the word scam. What has this world come to where everyone wanting to buy something online via paypal is auto labled a scam artist?? It's ridiculous.

Why are you so insistent on PayPal then? It obviously gives you protection but whoever you buy off has zero defence if you reverse the payment. You're the one being unreasonable if you cannot see this. Nobody is labelling PayPal users scammers - just PayPal users who want to buy bitcoin. You're "new" here but you'll soon learn that nobody takes these trades for a reason.

PayPal is the #1 payment processor. Sure there are scammers, but there are legit people. Get off your high horse my friend. People want to move from PayPal to bitcoin but when they get charged 50% after showing their ID on LocalBitcoins or when they get harassed here, they have no choice but to continue using PayPal.

Who are you exactly? A multi account shill for the original poster? This is a bitcoin forum. In the scams section you will find a clear warning to avoid these trades. If you're such a Good Samaritan then you can complete the trade for them. You are simply deflecting from the point, repeated many times, that this trade will protect the buyer and allow them to get their money back by reversing the payment. Good luck finding a poor soul to do the trade.

LMAO You poor old soul...Full of conspiracies & rubbish I tell you. Also, thanks for all the recommendations people but no thx. I have my mind made up & this isn't some kind of circus I'm about to go through to get my btc..In addition I dont live in a large city like Tampa lol & I'm not in the selling business. I have no intentions of using this SLOW site to sell stuff to establish a rep to make a measily btc purchase. For the record, the timeouts attached to messages & posts on this site make it almost unbearable. To the techs, was it really necessary? Maybe you should take a look into how the guys over @ 2+2 created their site. lol

Which is why Paypal is my preferred method, not because it gives me some unfair advantage over the seller smh

But it does, it gives you an EXTREME scammer advantage over even the most trusted BTC seller..

Payapl is our enemy, it represents everything us bitcoiners want to destroy..

Who in their right mind would want paypal anyway?
Even if the guy selling a Ferrari was offered 110% trade value in Kias would he take it?
Why would a sportscar connoisseur want a yard full of grocery getters?

Dude...

I almost moved to Tampa just now and checked out the BTC scene in the area...

Their is no shortage there of BTC dealers on Craigslist.. Find one of them and trade for cash in person at a coffee shop or something..

The simple fact is.. It is typical to scam people out of their BTC using paypal.. Paypal is terrible..
If you do find someone that will trade for your paypal, it could and very well should cost you a 25% premium due to the risk involved taking your paypal..

Grab some cash, look on Craigslist..

Yeah, I think that if you want to build trust using paypal you should allow someone to buy from you with it...not the other way around.

I mean, I usually give everyone the benefit of the doubt...but people who stick to their guns using cyclical commentary are usually scammers.

It's not worth the effort, the risk or the headache when most of us already have a way to sell bitcoins risk free. Few of us are altruistic anymore.

Buy something with paypal...sell it here for bitcoin using escrow.

Tada...you now have 1-2 positive trust ratings and everyone is happy.

Tell you what, I am in need a cat poop scooper. I will pay you $10 in bitcoin to ship one to me if it isn't a piece of trash.

Viola...you'd be 1/7th of the way there.

I'm not going to offer any additional solutions...

I just love how whenever I post something siding with someone, everyone's first assumption is the same.

"A multi account shill for the original poster?"

Right, because I'd make an alt account to do a $75 exchange when I could do it on my account here (0x0010.)
Not everyone is a 'scammer', I've done $200-300 worth of deals so far (I think) and some involved PayPal. Not a single problem here. But oh well.

People want to move from PayPal to bitcoin but when they get charged 50% after showing their ID on LocalBitcoins or when they get harassed here, they have no choice but to continue using PayPal.

You're "new" here but you'll soon learn that nobody takes these trades for a reason.

escrow you would want to consider using:

phillipma, monbux, ognasty...there's a list somewhere but it's not up to date or complete.

monbux does free escrow, phillipma wants to do more escrows than he's already doing...and ognasty is like royalty here.

I'd offer to escrow but I'm probably a bit fresh and ornery for you.

Nobody wants to do PayPal trades with fresh accounts. The reasoning behind this is the frequency of scam attempts. Nobody with experience will want to risk you scamming them.

You can buy bitcoins through coinbase.com or cex.io using your bank account or card. Alternatively you can sell things we might be interested in here on the forums, the best things to sell are things that aren't already being sold. Escrow is a great way to build trust because of the extra people involved in the trade(extra feedback = additional rapour).

You should look into localbitcoins.com and make the trade in person if you would like to remain anonymous.

Your first few trades should either be selling something of value to us or a purchase from someone here on the forum.

Good fortune to you and welcome to bitcointalk.

p.s. we're trying to help you, don't ignore our free advice...

yes, That is my thought. Some guys with newbie ranks usually want to buy bitcoin with paypal  so that they will easily make scams and then do disputes with paypal for refunds. Why doesn't this guy want to buy on coinbase or Cex.io??? it's very easy and safe for him

Not looking to scam & already found a seller but in need of a reputable escrow...Also it's not easy to buy from those sites as the verification process is absurd, long & drawn out.

The problem is that you are attempting to make a trade using the easiest way to scam.

You will want to find a different way.

All of the informational tools you need to succeed have already been given to you.

If this information doesn't assist you then I'll have no choice but to assume you're intentionally trying to scam.

I thoroughly understand the risks & complications regarding paypal for btc as I have bought & sold online poker funds for many years... I also came to realize purchasing btc on the above sites you just referred me to is easier said than done. In addition, the 3rd site you listed comes along w/insane vig fees. Which is why I ended up here. I have been through trial & error w/the above sites to no avail. I am simply looking to make my 1st successful purchase. I am also trying to do exactly what you suggested & make a purchase from someone & buy bitcoin lol

Why? Doesn't make much sense...Regardless if I'm new, I wouldn't be looking to send Paypal funds to someone first who isn't a longstanding member & I cannot become a trusted member until I begin making successful transactions.. So my member status is actually irrelevant as I'm looking to make my first trade..

Hi I'm new to the site & currently seeking bitcoin in exchange for Paypal. I am open to offers from reputable members ONLY. All offers greatly appreciated. I'm looking to buy around $75 btc. Thx in advance for the replies.

You're looking to buy bitcoins using PayPal and you're the one who's looking for a trusted member to trade with. It's the other way around if you'd like to buy bitcoins via PayPal. You should be the trusted member. Not the other way around.
