What kind of assets that can be collected? Does this include personal assets like jewelries and collections? What if the debtor has no valuable assets? Does the debtor can be imprison?

You can seize directly out of bank accounts, or you can put a lien against his vehicle or home.  If neither of those are a possibility, I can engage a Sheriff to seize personal assets in the home.

All this is based off the rules of Alberta.  Other provinces may be slightly different.

VOD how are you of legal basis for this when you are a confirmed Pedophile and Sex Offender  Huh Huh Huh

It's the best way to get people to pay up.   Wink

I'm no longer offering this service.  Locking this thread.

Just curious, what is the process to collect after you've won the arbitration?

Go to the courts and seize assets.  The debtor has no chance to fight or appeal.

No, I suppose he can simply declare bankruptcy. If he declares bankruptcy and hides assets, then he can go to prison. Not sure about the US and Canada though.

But wouldn't that involve paying fees and lawyers, to file a claim to the court to seize assets?

No.  You pay the court fees to 1) identify their bank account and 2) seize assets.  You include those costs as part of the seizure.

Bump - so far I don't have enough awards on any one person to make it worth anything to try and collect.  Sad

Sadly, In a while I may need your services against this person:
https://btcjam.com/users/23756

The amount is worth the hassle, around 14 BTC additional fees and legal interests excluded.

I have 2 very tiny loans that were never paid back on BTCJam. How do I check where they're from?

Look on the arbitration certificate - it will have the debtors full name and address.

If you have a judgement from BTCJam, and the debtor is in Canada, please PM me.   Smiley
