Guys... its so simple...
Get escrow.
Buyer give the coins to escrow on hold.
Seller run teamviewer with remote control.
Seller provide teamviewer details to buyer and escrow.
Escrow watch how the seller activate the amount to buyer amazon account via teamviewer to be 1000% sure the amazon card were redeemed right where it should be.
Seller agree to receive his coins from escrow after amazon ships the item.
Buyer agree to use the balance instant to not delay the seller.
If the buyer is in USA, this will take only a day with instant delivery method.
Safe, easy for everyone.
Thank me later.

I'm not using teamviwer with remote control access with someone from bitcointalk, not happening...
And what item would amazon be shipping? These steps don't make sense.

Anyway, if someone with substantial trust comes along and wants to buy it, I'll go first and send direct. If not, not a big deal I can wait or use the code myself.
It makes sense, seems like you never dealt with scammers who sells careds to be aware of whats going on around with agc.

By amazon codes you mean gift cards right? Try posting on the right (Digital Goods) section and you might get proper responses over there. And the only way escrow can help here is either the escrow will be redeeming the code on behalf of the buyer from his account or through screen sharing. Also letting people know how you got the gift cards might help them trust you.

Wise move.

Something seems fishy about user jrc209. There was some trade issue with user zarou.
And user BitMiner713 has only one trust rating...from none other than jrc209.

I have no problem sending first, but I need to feel comfortable. And I do not feel comfortable with either of these users.

So to jrc209 and BitMiner713, If either of you is willing to send coin first than I'll agree to send the code after. Sorry, but unless you have a good trust history I won't send first.

Edit: BitMiner173 upset in PM that I still won't trade with him with escrow even though I explained what the issue with escrow is in this very thread. JRC209 has a similar history. Pretty sure they're the same person looking to scam, just fyi for anyone reading this.

just thinking, what If I redeem the codes then use that balance in my account to purchase new egift codes and send them directly to an escrow's email?

That way the escrow knows the codes are legit and haven't been used, and I wouldn't even know what the codes are.

Then they send codes along and send me the btc/eth.

you cant buy egift codes with amazon balance.

Ah, damn, didn't realize that.

Just to share my bad experience with amazon, cards can be held and reversed even after one or two weeks after their usage.
Best way to stay safe is to use them instant.
After the item is sent from amazon, then all is good to go.
Cheers
(Not saying anything bad about the cards the seller got because i don't know him and never deal with him, just sharing my personal experience)

I'm not sure how proof of purchase would help, how would you know i just didn't redeem it anyway? But having looked more into this, it seems amazon used to have a way of checking code balances without redeeming, but only a month ago they disabled that feature. So I'm not sure how an escrow would even help, as they can't check the balance and if they send the code along the other person can redeem it and lie about it.

So the person I sell it to I have to trust to not lie about redeeming the balance.

...so won't trade with noobs or anyone without substantial trust.

90% rate.

Anyone interested?

Do you agree to go with an escrow that holds the BTC while the card is redeemed ?

Who would serve as escrow? But yes, I'd be willing to with a legit escrow. These are amazon e-gift card codes btw.

edit: after looking into your online profile, i'm not sure an escrow is needed. I think i'd be ok sending first directly. And I'm not even sure how an escrow would work in this case actually, since how would the middle man determine that the code is legit and still has funds in it without they themselves redeeming it (and then denying it)?

Are these digital or physical cards, Where are you located? I am a interested in the cards if they are physical cards.

They are not physical.

90% is too high cos,I can easily sell btc at +10% for cash and can buy Amazon GC in a store with my credit card and get 4% cash back on CC and have peace of mind buy a legit card

Let me know if you can sell for 80% with escrow

Can't do 80%, sorry.
