I accumulated (xx) BTC and spend a few bob on LTC, around $(yy) worth. Gamble.
Went to backup my LTC wallet, but couldnt find it. Went to my user directory (in a Win 7 VM environment) and SELECTED "hidden" (mistakenly) and it then proceeded to hide all my files in the user directory. The LC QT client then crashed and I freaked out. After 30 uneasy minutes, eventually launched explorer as admin, restored the directory (unhid it) and found my wallet. Then unhid everything.
Back to good.
Lesson to real noobies - backup your wallet before you start putting value in there.
