You can buy bitcoin now, what is lost is lost and cannot be recovered anymore. If you continue thinking about what is lost, bitcoin would still continue pumping well into the future, and you'd regret why you didn't buy it. Good thing is that if you buy now, you'd be able to keep your assets safely and not lose it again. Grin

that sucks, you would have made a lot of profit even back then if you sold it when the price reached $1k+ in 2013

and yeah, going through a divorce can make you forget stuff, especially with all the problems, issues and stress that come with it.

If you say you joined this forum in 2012, why not report this with the account you registered with, except you've lost the password to the account?
It's strange that one would purchase Bitcoin and forget about it for 12 years. I know that back then in 2012, when it's price was around $13.45, it's easy to ignore it but it rose to $1000 in 2013 and I'm sure you would have made gains. From what I found, Bitcoinnordic was bought by Coinify in May, 2014 so I doubt you can be able to get your funds back.

 ???Lost btc from 2012
Very much a long shot

I joined this forum in 2012,  shortly after I purchased BTC from bitcoinnordic exchange who used walletbit.

So I forgot about this, and 12 years too late, reading some  posts back when Wallitbit went bust, they only gave two weeks notice to claim, so I've got no chance🤣
