Glad you got it sorted out.

Everytime a service marks a transactions as successful, you need to check the transaction on a block explorer.
If the TX can't be found (either TXID invalid or no TX id at all) - it is a mistake on the service providers site (in this case: bitbay).
If you can't find a TX when searching for your address on a block explorer, it means that no transaction has been broadcasted into the network yet.

You might consider using a more 'trusted' exchange. There are quite a few with better liquidity, fees and more coins to be tradable.
Usually, bigger exchanges are more secured (even tho this can't be said for sure).

it says no transaction. damn.
but on bitbay I have no btc left and there it says completed. what should I do now?

1. It's possible that you copied the wrong address and the funds were sent somewhere else.
2. If the address is actually shown as details in your Bitbay transactions then the problem is coming from their part, you should contact the support.

the address is correct. its shown in the history and its copied from the electrum. im 100% about this.
I will need to contact the support then... thanks

to finish this topic..
I contacted BitBay, they said they blocked all transactions due to suspicious activity on my account. However, all transactions I made were listed in the history on BitBay as completed and Bitbay didnt send any notification about the suspicious activity. Instead of that I was trying to figure out for more than 2 days if there is something wrong with electrum, etc. Anyway.. after additional verification I was able to restore the btcs and send them to electrum wallet within few min.

Check the receiving address in a block explorer (blockchain.info for instance). If you see that the funds are there and you actually own that address, then it could be a display issue from Electrum.

Have you checked the status of your transaction on bitbay? If not, you should do that first and confirm on the block explorer. It might be a problem with the sender. Why not share the TX ID here too?

bitbay status says: completed
there is no transaction number, just receiving address

Hi,

I sent some btc from bitbay to electrum more then 24 hours ago and electrum shows still no funds.
I am pretty sure I didnt make a mistake when copying the address, I checked that many times.
The wallet is not blocked by firewall, and its connected to 10 nodes. I am also sure that I didnt instal a fake sotware either.
Still not funds shown.

I would appreciate any help.
Thanks!
