I don't think there's any know solution especially if it happens you did send it to someone else (unknown) that's why it's very important to always cross check for the second time and be very sure to have confirmed the address before further sending your coin to any wallet because due to the security on block chain recovery is always almost impossible.

I'm not sure because I haven't had such experience before but I think sending a report to coin base could help if you are sure the address you sent it to wasn't wrong maybe they could find away around it but I haven't come across any known solution to such than forfieting such coin as it can't be recovered in most cases, but then sorry for your loss.

Hi, Salutations, Here, I'm new. Actually, I was searching for answers after making some really terrible mistakes. A friend told me about this website, where I could find all the answers, and I came here to look for them.
In reality, I wanted to mix my wallet's bitcoin with the bitcoin on Coinbase. I believe I made a mistake. Although I can't recall every step, I believe there was a purpose I went on "swap." I mistook the money I was sending to my wallet from Coinbase. However, bitcoin never made it there. It is finished, and I received numerous confirmations. However, I was curious about its whereabouts. I guess I sent it to someone and it’s lost. Sad,  but okay, I just want to confirm there is nothing I can do! I will be glad to have solutions or advice.

Welcome to the forum and sincerely people do get answers to their questions or solution to their problems here. But before they will get such help, they will be able to make the community understand their problems.

With what you did in OP, you might never have an answer to your questions. You have acknowledged that you sent your coin to the wrong address. How did you know? What you need to do is to paste the tx id here or you check it out on explorer, then you will have a clear understanding of where your coin went to. I guess you have an account with coinbase, maybe you have to chat their support.

It's unfortunate that you are having such experience now but I would encourage you to be strong. I will also want to inquire from you because as a newbie there are some things you might not know and have done such by mistake. Did you really check the wallet address properly before making the transaction?  Another is the fact that you said you want to mix you Bitcoin with that of Coinbase and I ask you this question is that you wanted to transfer your Bitcoin from your wallet to your Coinbase wallet for trading or what because if you copied the right wallet address, your coin should be in the wallet address you provided as the receiving address and it should be there.
It you know the wallet that received the coin Is a Coinbase wallet address then what you should do is to copy the transaction hash coupled with the bother wallet address them send to Coinbase to further assist you rectify whatever challenges you are facing.

I don't care if this information is genuine but I'm sad to hear this ...
It's unimaginably painful how you'd send your coins out, hoping to have 'em received on the recipient, but it becomes a different story...
It's important that we crosscheck every goddamn transaction as there could be a mistake even after repeating the same transaction for as maybe times as possible... Sad.

@OP

You need to come back and answer some of the questions so that you'll have the idea on where it actually landed. If there's no Bitcoin sent from your Coinbase wallet to your receiving wallet then that means that it never arrived and check out if it's still on your Coinbase wallet.

Reporting it to Coinbase fixed my issue.
Seems that there is no option but to do this @OP because they're the only one that can help you if funds are still there.

Op, the error may be in your destination address. If you want to move your Bitcoins from Coinbase to your wallet, of course, you have to copy the address from your wallet. Maybe if you put your transaction address or TX here there will be members who can help you see it.
This error could occur due to your fault. or maybe your device has been infected with a virus.
Don't expect much, but if it can come back to you. I hope you get it back.

Something went wrong when you started sending because if you do the right thing then it is impossible for your bitcoins to be lost and not received. You don't share any details so it's difficult for the community to provide answers unless you link the image during the submission process. If you send to an unknown address then there is no chance of recovery and even if you know the address and can access the owner's social media, it also depends on whether the recipient wants to return your bitcoins or not.

An important lesson that we can take from what happened to you is that must be careful and always be careful when using an exchange to send the bitcoins you have. I think it's more your own personal fault than the exchange you use, maybe some users have explained some tips that you can do, but I think it was your mistake in sending so it will be difficult to recover.

If you are sending it yourself from Coinbase to your wallet, meaning you are the one sending it, how it can be lost?

Perhaps you might have send it to a wrong address. And it will help us if you can send the tx like going to https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/

You mean you want to mix your bitcoins and then send them to Coinbase exchange?

Or you send bitcoins to an address not from Coinbase, I think it's easy to remember you did it, if you really feel guilty.

But know that if the bitcoin transaction has been confirmed by the block then there is no need to expect bitcoin back because it is very unlikely, unless you have to be prepared to lose all of it.

Try check the transaction id, though coinbase is an exchange, maybe you make use of a feature you don't know about while using the exchange or probably sent to a wrong address, if you target a different address but sent to another one you don't have access to, then am sorry to inform you that your fund is lost because bitcoin transactions are irreversible, then try to provide other necessary information about how it all happened and what exactly you did that led to that

But if you can confirm that you sent your coins to the right address then you can report the issue to Coinbase because sometimes their wallet is buggy it happened to me before.
From my understanding OP didn't send the fund to coinbase. OP sent the fund from coinbase.

I mistook the money I was sending to my wallet from Coinbase.

To OP:
Am I getting you correctly? Did you send the fund from coinbase to another wallet?
If so, where did you send the fund to? Where did you get the receiving address from?

I am not sure, but your device may have been infected with a clipboard hijacking malware.

I believe there was a purpose I went on "swap."
Do you mean did a swap on the coinbase wallet? To withdraw bitcoin, you don't actually need this process unless you want to exchange wBTC(wrapped token) for real BTC first.
If the txid shows bitcoins sent correctly to your address, I think it's a failure of your wallet app to update the latest balance.

That's right, if he can confirm that he sent the Bitcoin to the right address then he has nothing to worry about. But if it's a wrong address, then I think his device is infected and the address he copied got replaced by a clipboard malware.
I have had 4 or 5 euros over the years with the exchange coinbase.

they triple paid me 1000 dollar withdrawal. they fixed that one in a day.  they also moved coins to wrong places a few times.

if the op can show us what he or she did we may be able to help.

If it was sent to an unknown address then you don't have any chance to recover back your coins.

But if you can confirm that you sent your coins to the right address then you can report the issue to Coinbase because sometimes their wallet is buggy it happened to me before. Reporting it to Coinbase fixed my issue.

Adding this get the TXID hash from your wallet and check it to any explorer to analyze the transaction if you sent it to the right address. You can use this https://mempool.space/
