Police can find your phone by use IMEI localization.
Also you can try to call your sim provider,to detect location of your sim.

Go to the police is probably your best bet.
Stalk craigslist or your local equivalent.
just an FYI though, there is a huge amount of anti-theft software available for android, Cerberus is a fan favorite.

Thanks for informing about Cerberus. I'll install it on my next phone for sure!

Why don't you go to the police?

Yeah, you can ask them to trace down your phone.

Filing a complaint on a cop is useless as I believe.

true in my town i read local news last night and i seen a bunch of people complain
about having pictures and signatures etc from pawn shops after guys took in stolen property.
separate incidents but a common pattern.. the cops keep telling people they will eventually look into it..
or in one case they actually told a person that there is nothing the Police can do because
they could never proof if the person in the pawn shop actually stole the item.
WOW what a stupid lazy moron pig !

I had a buddy when i was younger that took in a stolen radio to a pawn shop and he got a few years in jail.
..for possession of stolen property.
And i know damn well he didn't steal it.. don't ask me how i know Wink

SO yeah i dunno if i lost my phone i might call the cops but i wouldn't expect a result.
That guy is going to re-flash it prob.. if he's smart.

First call you mobile service provider to deactivate your Mobile Phone.
Then fill a complaint to get insurance if you have insured you mobile phone.
Call you phone company to track the Unique Number of your phone.

DO you have a bitcoin wallet installed  to that samsung phone or probably email is logged to the phone?
Because that is what I just worry if I lost my phone, If not then you can just forget that phone. After a month or two that model will eventually be old.

eh I understand how u feel. I lost more then 3 phones, I dont know were they stolen or i was drunk and lost them, and i broke few also. I dont have luck at all with touchscreen phones. I stop counting while ago. But now I have tablet and ordinary phone (last year and half) and everything is good. Maybe cause tablet is bigger and its more harder to lose it. Anyway I know how u feel, chances to find phone are realy low, better forget and try to be more careful in future.

go to XDA forums and keep an eye out for someone asking how to flash that phone model.
then try and see if you can lure them into taking a picture of it or describing it.
you may be able to find him and freak him out and pressure him to give it back.. get creative LOL

if he is a noob chances are he will end up at that forum Wink

Today I have lost my love, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge of 32GB (Gold Platinum Color). While I was returning home, someone pickpocketed it at a congested metro station! Cry Unfortunately I turned off my internet connection as I was in a subway and thus couldn't track it neither via Samsung's tracker nor via Google's Android Manager! I went to the local police station but they aren't cooperating at all (thanks to our Indian Police - The Lazy Lumps Angry ) They said, they can only block my sim card and provide me a new one with the same number and nothing more than that! Sad

I'm going to share the details I have of my device, so can anyone (especially hackers in this forum) help me out in anyways possible? I'll reward him with a lump sum of Bitcoins if he can help me out in finding it's current location!

Model No => SM-G925IZDAINS (INDIAN)

IMEI => 359670/06/313353/9

S/N => RZ8G400E0MR

These is all I have afterall Cry

Please try to share this info in all "true" hacking forums you know exists!

I'll be highly grateful if I get my lover back anyhow Smiley I'll reward him with a lump sum of BTC!
