You're using the wrong version of "Electrum".
Electrum is a Bitcoin only wallet... you need to go get the verge compatible version, which according to the verge homepage (https://vergecurrency.com/) can be downloaded from here: https://github.com/vergecurrency/electrum-xvg/releases

I had an Electrum Wallet version 2.4.1 and I cannot find my XVG currencies anymore, the seed recovery doesn't work and the new Electrum version is 3.0.2
How can I get my coins back in my wallet?
