I don't really interested in any big transaction, unless it's reason of bitcoin price suddenly fall or involved with Satoshi's bitcoin.
I bet you have lots of free time, so you spend it just to look bitcoin's transaction.
yes i also find it only a mean to spend some time for free to make other people to dream about receiving those large sum of bitcoin to their address by mistake. Grin

Most of the receiving addresses are empty, because it moves from there to other active addresses... This looks like a exchange or a mixer service shifting coins. It

would be interesting to find out a bit more about this. I guess pseudo anonymity are in fact working, if we cannot pinpoint the owner or the recipients. Our local Bitcoin

detective {Gleb} must give us some insight into this.  Wink He has excellent analysis skills to figure this out.

I also like to see transactions as they happen. Impressive how much money flows instantly, throughout the world and with negligible fees Smiley

That address is probably from BTCC

Not sure if these are actual transactions between different owners or just from one pocket to another pocket of the same owner. I guess $839k is still consider small amount compare to the big transactions in a bank in a usual day.

These are always transactions created by exchanges or mining farms. They have to keep moving their coins from time to time for security reasons.

Yes, that's very interesting indeed. But who are they, I mean the senders and the recipients?

I think in the whole history of Bitcoin there were no place where $157 million were spent for purchasing some goods or services. ... Wait, of course I was wrong.

"From February 6, 2011 to July 23, 2013 there were approximately 1,229,465 transactions completed on the site. The total revenue generated from these sales was 9,519,664 Bitcoins, and the total commissions collected by Silk Road from the sales amounted to 614,305 Bitcoins. These figures are equivalent to roughly $1.2 billion in revenue and $79.8 million in commissions, at current Bitcoin exchange rates..." - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silk_Road_(marketplace)

You cannot do that on traditional way ,there will be a lot of paper works involve if you want to transfer such huge amount, but with bitcoin you can do it even if you have no valid id to show and it's anonymous, this is what every body likes about bitcoin..

Yes, It's funny how much fun it is to watch and monitor these transactions. We cannot do this with banks, because they use private networks and closed ledgers. If I can take a guess these transactions are Wallet services or Exchanges or even gambling operations shifting funds to cold storage. ^smile^
