Bitcoin isn’t an outdated tech it is the best means for use when it comes to medium of exchange, general acceptability and tradeable easily too for fiat.
After bitcoin is litecoin too
So when veriblock stakes it’s claim; we can worry about bitcoin then
Just because it is the most accepted does not mean it is not outdated tech, there are new projects implementing better technology alongside the blockchain than Bitcoin.
Your confusing your terms, tech and medium of exchange are two different things, while also there are other coins in which are a way better medium of exchange than Bitcoin in terms of usability.
Bitcoin is for noobs.
Very true that there are better technology than bitcoin. VeriBlock is not the first one to beat the tech of btc. But up until now, no one comes close to its popularity of usage. I wonder what percentage of crypto users will use VeriBlock and how many merchants will try to use this altcoin as payment methods?
Do not get my post wrong I am not a supporter of VeriBlock neither, It's tech isn't that advanced to be awed by it could be useful for some in terms of preventing 51% attack on smaller scale blockchains, still why would I support a project built on top of Bitcoin when I do not support Bitcoin in the first place? It is saying hey when Bitcoin goes crashing down so will VeriBlock, unless they implement cross-chain saved states such as having backups on more than just Bitcoin.
My post is just saying kudos to VeriBlock for testing the limits of Bitcoin which is something that we need as a community to further advance the tech seen in Blockchain.
