Hey guys, this has been in the works for a little while now and I though I would make it a little more public.
Anyway here is the deal... Serve By Design LLC. has been hosting since 2007 and VPS solutions are a great fit for mining pools (size dependent
). Low-cost and easily deployable. I realize that some of the options below are not really relevant for some pools, but you get the idea. Typically, the 1024MB plan is a great start. I have been able to get 400+ users and close to 1GH/s (scrypt) on that VPS.
I am almost finished creating a Ubuntu 10.04 64Bit template with MPOS, mySQL and Stratum installed. Just deploy the template, change a few variables and go!

so all i would need to do is is install litecoin or any other coin deamon wall and isert the rpc user and pass into stratum config.py then set the port and coin type in global.inc.php
i have this all setup on my own server but i for some reason i cant get stratum twisted -ny launcher.tac to listen on port 3333 wich should be done automaticly shouldnt it, i have stratum working and speaking to my litecoind, this is the only thing i have to do and stratum is not showing to be using any ports in netstat. do you have any idea why this is

I made a script on the server that now will do most of the work for you and prompt you for the variables when it's time. It also gets the most current version of MPOS and what ever else needs to get installed.

Those would be pre-installed, you would need to modify the variables that pertain to the coin.
