WHAT Huh 750 WATTS PSU FOR 5 X RX 580 CARDS Huh THAT IS A BIG NO !!!
I can definitely only agree on this, 5 of those cards on a single 750W PSU is like begging for trouble.

To OP, if you are ever going to increase the amount of cards without upgrading the PSU I'd stick with max 3 cards as a safety precaution.

Thank you for your help! The mining driver took me from a combined hash rate of 33.5 mh/s to now getting 44.3 mh/s. Ill have to play with overclocking again though as taking my memory clock from 1750 to 1850 dropped my hashrate to 42 mh/s, quite the conundrum. Thanks again!

Thanks for the reply! The psu is a 750 watt unit from Corsair. Currently they are showing a draw of 108 watts a piece in msi afterburner and the psu is drawing 370 watts at the wall. Also, you are correct the original pc was built in 09 or 2010.

the PSU currently have is enough to add upto 5 cards maximum with the PSU you have.

did you set the virtual mem for at least 16GB ?
can you post your config , or .bat file ?
use the latest claymores miner from HERE
Use the AMD Blockchain Compute Driver from HERE
- Uninstall you installed driver with DDU use safe mode
- install blockcahin driver
- make sure you set the virtual memory at least to 16GB
- use claymore latest miner  , dont do any overclocking yet , just see the hashrate for a 5-10 minutes ... , then close the miner , reboot your computer set the mem  clock higher 2025 then 2050 , then 2075 then 2100  , you also need to do some change with the gpu max freq , and some undervolting Smiley
Let us know how if its helped Smiley

do you have any -dcri value specified in you bat file or in your config file ?

You seems having the 2 rx580 cards only so electricity consumption will be there in the electricity bill accordingly. You will get the profit according to the number cards you are using because hash rate will increases when you added the more number of cards to the mining rig. the PSU currently have is enough to add upto 5 cards maximum with the PSU you have. You can get the high watts PSU when you increases the more cards.

I’m using google claymore miner, im not sure of the version it was whatever nanopool linked to. As for the driver I am using 22.19.677.257 which appears to be the up to date driver for these cards released in September of this year.

so you built that pc 7 years ago , and now added 2x rx 570/8 GB cards to ur system  right ?
what is your psu rating ? those rx 570 cards can pull 150-190 watts during mining without proper overclocking, undervolting ..

Hey guys and gals, I am new to crypto mining. I had a gaming PC I built about 7 years ago (if only I had started mining back then) I bought and installed 2 MSI RX570’s 8 GB versions and am only getting a cumulative hashrate of about 33.5 mh/s ETH with the memory clock set to 2100 mhz. They have the Hynix memory and I have not yet done the bios mod but it seems as though I should be getting 50 mh/s. In terms of the system specs it is a core I7 920 and have 6gb of ddr2 memory I believe and I am running windows 10 currently. Thank you for your help!
