Low Orbit Ion Cannon is useless now. There are booters on the market right now that can do 50-100+ Gbps. Also if you use those booters, some of them are online so youre IP is not used for the ddos but just to be safe use VPN no matter what.
Could you provide a link or name to some of these?

Anybody used it before?
What are the legality issues associated with it?
How to mask your ip address when using it?
I wouldn't recommend doing this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack#Legality
Yes you can mask your IP using a VPN.
I did however use LOIC on a few machines to stress test my network.

There are many booters with a wide range of prices, here are a few examples:
Myutro, DDoSClub, Absolut Stresser, UnseenBotter, CStress Booter

I have used some of them before to test the DDoS protection on my sites. They work fairly well.

Sounds very illegal - I would not recommend performing unauthorized DoS attacks on other people's servers.

Is it possible for you to pm me what are some of the booters?
And maybe a step by step guide for using vpn with those booters? Smiley
Would be interesting to know as i am curious and interested in these kind of things.
