s3's are cheap used.  I am in NJ USA if you are close to me I have 2 s3's they will do freq 212 each .

you get 830 gh to 850 gh  using 680 watts
I was unaware that they could reach that before I let mine go.
Hind sight I guess.

two machines   415  to 425 each  using 340 watts each.  they total to 830-850 gh using 680 watts

A really good s-3 can do a little over 505gh and use about 390-400 watts

2 good ones can do 1010gh at 780-800 watts.

mine are batch 1 thus 2 do 830- 850 watts

s-3's can sell for 100 bucks, pretty good if power is free.

Which mining unit has the lowest $/ghs cost? (not worrying about power consumption)

I've looked around an am having trouble figuring it out.

antminer s1 units or s3 units you can likely find $0.15/gh

also, used gear. used SP3x units are pretty cheap. Im asking $1900 +shipping for a 4.9TH/3.5kW SP31, which is $200 cheaper than new and has built-in PSUs

The most expensive place to buy SP30/31/35 on the market (aside from here apparently) is ebay, you can grab them for $1400 or so, again not the best $/gh but if you need something compact it is a good option..

I will second the S3's.  S1's just don't make sense anymore from a density/cost of power supply point of view, and the S3's are about as reliable and stable as a miner gets.
