I also read that certain companies create artificial shortages in order to hype their product.  I guess that wouls bw very difficult to do with a downloadable software game like Bejeweled (which my daughter likes but only when I'm playing it!)

Sounds to me like she's too easily affected by that shit to be honest and needs to find another outlet, like I said, get her on a different game, bet she'd like Bejeweled or something lol Tongue plenty of flashing colours and stuff in that game and it only costs you something once. Oh and don't let people tell you your daughter can't play more mature games either, I was about 10 - 12 when I started playing games like Starcraft and Command and Conquer as long as they realise it isn't real and so on they'll be fine.

You do realise that's exactly what their fucking plan is to get you to buy more of the damn things right? You should tell your daughter about micro-payment gaming and then find her a fun game that isn't based on those kind of stupid mechanics.

We've had that conversation and even though she understands targeted-marketing, she hasn't built up an immunity yet.  For special occasions (birthday, Christmas, International talk-like-a-pirate day...) we'll buy a new one but most of them we've picked up 2nd-hand for next to nothing but these new ones that scan into the Hasbro game aren't readily available on the 2nd-hand market but scanning an image works just fine.

We finally found a pack today at our local Target but they only had Eliza Blue and Rad Slopington pack.
Here is an example of the paw print we're looking for:

Found a few paw-print codes in youtube "unboxing" videos on the back of the LPS characters' heads.  They scan fine and can be imported into the game.  Pictures of paw-print codes work great.  Anybody have some?

Of the scores of Littlest Pet Shop pets my daughter has, none have the paw print code necessary to scan so she can import them into the LPS online game.  We found one with a paw print on the foot but all attempts at scanning have proved fruitless.  Can somebody post an image of one of these codes so we can see what to look for please?

edit: My daughter set out a few to show what I'm talking about

No paw print codes.
