Thanks for the welcome!

It was crazy sitting on the sidelines watching and being utterly impotent to do anything. Hopefully I'm still ahead of the curve.

In relation to those of us on the sidelines-- I imagine the number of us 'in the know, but unable' is enormous. I use myself and my large circle of 'barely scraping by' friends as strictly anecdotal evidence.

Hello everyone,

As luck would have it, I first took notice of bitcoin in early January. I wanted to buy at 12 or 13 but the price had already reached 18. The thought didn't even cross my mind that this could be an amazing investment opportunity until I noticed the price growing to 30, then 70, then 100+. Needless to say, I was too broke to buy and the rent was already late.  Undecided

Although my financial situation has slightly improved-- I can now rationally afford to buy a couple of bitcoins if only I could travel back in time to early January. Tongue  However, the price to enter has substantially grown (x10) since then. I will try selling off some things as this might be the only way for me to get in at this point. As luck would have it (again) I find myself in unknown territory as the price seems to have stabilized and the craziness has subsided (for now at least).

I've been lurking for a couple of months, nice to finally attempt to get my feet wet.

Nice to hear you're getting in, you may still be well ahead of the curve. Only time will tell I suppose.
