Good eyes, brother. Someone would no doubt have fallen for this bullshit. I read about graded fakes on a coin chat board, and it's really frightening what the counterfeiters are doing nowadays. I'm not sure this forum is the best place to be buying coins and bullion, because you know how many scammers there are. And the seller will claim they didn't know, of course.

Anyone selling under spot always raises an instant red flag for me.
Wonder if he realises how serious it is to sell counterfit legal tender coins.

What happened: Lukey372 is attempting to sell fake gold and platinum coins. He has posted several threads with coins in fake NGC slabs. I did some research and found that the coin the seller has offered are well known fakes. They have the same NGC slab numbers as the coin in this thread but the grade is changed: http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=263294

He has multiple auction and sales threads and all the pictures he shows contain fake NGC slabs. You can tell due to the lack of hologram on the bottom label.
