So how do we get the official whitelisting? Is there a separate forum for that I didn't see?
I don't think it's a desire to demoralize anyone. More of a way to weed out the folks that would be more interested in seeing something fail.
It's difficult to find a good way to let in new people while still providing a way to keep out the trolls.
It's annoying to me, because I wanted to respond to the guy that runs the pool I'm mining at, and I can't because I'm "brand new."

I didn't realize I needed to post as a newbie to get whitelisted... it's like you want us to feel demoralized before commenting on things. lol
