Hi Cereberus, mining with nicehash is convenient but they have quite high fee ( i think its 3 %). So mining directly with CC miner is more preferable.

As of your setup. Changing only address is not enough. I guess you need to change also the algorithm you mine ( not sure which one is set as optional ) together with username and pass (this depends on pool you are using ...  some requires address, others requires you to sign up and use your login)

Can you post your batch file content? ... without pass and username of course

I used to mine with CC miner 2.0 https://bitcointalk.org/?topic=770064
all you need is to create the bat file ( when running with bat file the miner skips the config file) with following info:
Quote
ccminer-x64 -i 20 -a lyra2rev2 -o (PUT HERE YOUR MINING POOL) -u (PUT HERE YOUR WORKER NAME or USER NAME) -p (PUT HERE YOUR PASS)

example:
ccminer-x64 -i 20 -a lyra2rev2 -o stratum+tcp://mona.suprnova.cc:2995 -u MyName.Worker1 -p x
( letter 'i'  stands for intensity, you can start with lower values to test it)

Also you can prepare a bat file for each algorithm (supported algos are listen in read me) and switch mining as you want.

Thanks but have deleted it and put nicehash to mine only the Equihash algorithm which is the most consistent one now that I am thinking about it. I am only mining zcash, and I intend to continue with nicehash miner as even they have 3% fee they are bringing in me more profit than mining zcash with EBWF Cuda miner and selling it in poloniex through fees and having also fees for withdrawing from there too. It appears nicehash is a better option for me.

OK, fully undestood. For how long you mine with them?

My story:
I tried them 3 weeks ago just to test. With GTX 1080 mined the most profitable ( also lyra and equihash). I was impressed by income as well ... my stats shown 4 mBTC in 2 days. But then I quit and start mining with pools.  Yesterday I received payout from nicehash and got only 2.5 mBTC. Just guessing the BTC price rise reduced my rewards (they calculate it in USD). So I'm very glad I did not mine with them for longer time.
Just wanted to share my experince.

I have just started with them from a few days. I did 4.15 mBTC within 48 hours with them and they paid me 4 mBTC during 22 of April. Now I am only mining Equihash Zcash and making from 1.24 mBTC to 1.65 mBTC daily depending on the exchange rate. Next round payout for me is on 5 of May and estimated payout will be 16 mBTC because I only mine 12-14 hours per day cause at night I shut down my PC. Very happy with them so far with the results and don't intend on changing if they keep going like this.

Nvidia cards scream at hashing with lyra2 vs AMD;  and they don't do bad at all on the skein algo as well.

check the batch file link in my sig.  in that thread, it leads to my older batch file post which has the links to the miners I use as well.    I myself stay away from nicehash's crap.  No fee to use ccminer by itself.

I actually earn more on zpool I think with my personal video cards;
Presently I am pulling ~1.2-1.5Gh of skein, and pull nearly ~.175/mo..

Full time miners: 1x 1070, 1x 980, 1x 960
Part time miner: 1x 1070  (I shut it off to play video games when I play)

Plus you can use my batch to use auto-profit switching like the nicehash miner... but its built into the pool;  the batch just relaunches the new miner when the pool wants you to switch algo.

If you need help getting started on the pool if you are interested, I am just a PM away, unless you think a public reply here is better for sharing with others.

You should try miningpoolhub.com they are only 0.9% and also switches coins as one gets more prof. It is a bit more complex to setup but if you get it going it well worth it.

I am mining with Nicehash at the moment and I am happy with that. It usually mines Zcash and gives about 1.4-1.8 Euro per day which is nice for a GTX 1060. What I have noticed though is that when it switches to mining Lyra2rev it does better goes minimum 1.85 euro per day and I think this is most profitable to mine.

I have tried mining it myself by downloading the ccminer-nanashi and adding my btc address in the batch file of Nicehash there but any times I start mining myself through this miner it says "block not validated by cpu" which is strange as I am mining with GPU.

Help me by showing me a step by step guide like 1.2.3.4.5 divided in points and I will reward 0.005 btc to the one who will help me set up the ccminer to mine lyra2rev. Thank you.

Why not use nicehash and just disable all the other algo's?

1: Open nicehash
2: Click settings
3: Click the Devices / Algorithms tab
4: Click on the device in question
5: Only enable the Lyra2REv2 algo.

Well I wanted to try myself through the CCminer but this option also worked and I see it now it's not as good. Anyway thanks for the help, I will now set it to mine Zcash only, leave your Btc address here. I will send you 0.005 btc as promised. Thanks.

That is nice of you. You can use 3Q2YZPQGd9XeRahj3eZ761QmZhLgcBLHMB !

Thanks a lot for your help. It was not worth in the end for me to have undergone to try to mine lyra2rev myself.

Here is your reward as promised
