Hi Chopsticks,

I've updated the post with the SHA256 of the zip file.

Although I'm a newbie on this forum, I have been building Mac OS X and iOS software for many years.  You can see the website and past applications at: http://www.bitcartel.com

The security concerns you mention are of course very real and people should definitely exercise caution with new software or web services.

Hi Simon.

App looks nice.

However, with the recent Mac OS X exploits that are stealing bitcoins I would suggest caution from users who may download your app.
Your newbie status of 1 post doesn't instill much confidence.

just sayin'

Unofficial trading accounts always come with a bit of risk....

Hi,

I'm developing an experimental Mac application for Bitcoin/Altcoin exchanges, starting with support for Kraken.  At the moment the application displays public data for the most traded pair on Kraken, Bitcoin-Euros (XBTEUR).  Execution of orders has not been implemented yet because I'd like to get feedback first from potential users.

The application is native and requires Mac OS X 10.8 or later.  It's both code-signed and sandboxed. The direct download link is here:

I know there's an open-source QT based trading application, and it may be better to support that effort rather than start a new project, so I'm interested in knowing if there is demand for a native Mac application, whether for trading or some other specific purpose e.g. notifications, data analysis, quick orders, etc.

Let me know what you're interested in, what exchanges you want supported, and any use-cases you might have when using your Mac and iPhone.  Feedback and ideas much appreciated, thanks.

Regards,
Simon
