I have moved on.

Sorry.  If I come back to this I will update what I am seeing.

(PS I hate having to wait 6 minutes between posts.  Kinda crazy and VERY bad use of my time.)

Hey, sorry to hear you're having problems! Does it actually start hashing for you with BFGMiner? I think this may be the result of starting before the default configuration is overwritten  by the set one (it can take a second to write the conf file for bfgminer)  - can you please check /Applications/MacMiner.app/Contents/Resources/bfgurls.conf (open it with vi or textedit) and see whether the first pool was set to slush's? If so it should be a simple case of starting again - if not can you re-run the config and 5secs after pressing save and start check the file again for me? If it's still not written I'll take a look at that and if so please change the file manually to use slush's server.

What's the URL you're using with cpuminer? I had the opportunity to download it on someone not very technical's mac today (a very fresh install on a new air) and cpu being the only thing you can do with that I did check cpuminer and it worked fine there - i'm just wondering whether it's a problem with the server so I'd like to try it myself!

I can get older versions of MacMiner 1.0.2 to work, but can not get the latest version to work.  Here's what I see using BFG Miner:

I have put all of the info in needed for stratum.bitcoin.cz...  Yet it seems to default to some other pool....

When I use CPU Miner I get the following...

[2013-06-05 10:32:17] 8 miner threads started, using 'scrypt' algorithm.
[2013-06-05 10:32:18] HTTP request failed: Empty reply from server

[2013-06-05 10:32:48] HTTP request failed: Empty reply from server

Any ideas?

Thanks
