Any way to know if a wallet is malware? Here is the wallet I want to download on my Mac's Windows 10 partition: https://github.com/pepeteam/pepecoin

BTW I can't access any files on my MacOS when I boot from my Windows 10 partition which is why I don't understand how the Windows malware would be able to access them Huh

There are utilities that allow Windows to access HFS file system (mac). HFS explorer, Paragon HFS+. ...

It is very improbable to have open source malware. At least I found nothing in this code that deals with HFS file system (of course I did no audit of this Pepecoin in general).

probably, MacOS journaled partition or the new APPLFs filesystem partition is still vulnerable to attack, but it depends on the level of the malware on how deep can it penetrate to your system. some malware are listening or sniffing to your computer network or to your router . this might be more dangerous to MacOS because it can hardly detect malwares than Windows.

Not only is it likely or possible but definite.  Any partitions on your drive are visible if the right resources are installed on the OS you are using.
If you can access the files from windoze then they can be taken by malware.  Only exception to this rule is to physically remove the drive for other OS, or to encrypt the other drive and have it "locked" while in Win-environment.
I usually store my keys on a jump drive.  That way if the drive isn't there neither is the file/access.

If malware disguised as a wallet is downloaded to a windows 10 partition on a Mac, is sensitive data (e.g. private keys) still safe on the MacOS?

In other words, is it possible (or even remotely likely) that malware can access data on a completely different partition???

Thanks in advance Smiley
