They are now in a brink of famine... A famine that world is actually fighting and preventing since United Nations has been established.

This is something UN must be wary of and I think they know that the country has been in drought for 4 years now.

Let's pray for the wellness of the citizens, and be somehow glad, that the country's state of emergency has been lifted after 17 months.

south African scientist detect a new coronavirus variant with multiple mutations but are yet to establish is transmissibility and immunity

I don't think this relates to Madagascar, at least not yet. Variant c1.2 apparently possesses some similarities to Delta, but has been circulating since at least May, and Delta is still by far the leading variant. c1.2 hasn't yet been named as a variant of concern or even of interest, so I suppose we wait and see. It has been noted, and will certainly be tracked if it starts to flourish, that's all that matters at the moment.

Meanwhile overall Covid cases in Madagascar remain — currently — very low.

The corona virus has exacerbated madagascar's crisis with 69 percent of the country's people living below the international poverty line due to long standing poor infrastructure lack of education and malnutrition. In addition Madagascar does not seem to be immune to natural disasters droughts floods and devastating epidemics have created an insecure environment in the country at the same time, political instability is a major cause of the country's weak economy.

I've heard about the possible mutation and another variant of the covid-19 virus. But other than that, most of what you've said, they're not yet on the news.
It's better as suggested above if you can give links or sources to prove those.

So that all happened in Madagascar in 1 day eh? Sucks to be there I guess, hopefully tomorrow will go better for them...

Our take is that you need to provide links to the 'news' you are posting about otherwise it is meaningless babbling. Links are needed so folks can get the details and understand the context of what you post.

Earlier yesterday in Madagascar there have been some combination of drought, sandstorms and pest infestation have been destroyed, harvest in southern Madagascar, leaving more than 1.1 million people in severe food insecurity; south African scientist detect a new coronavirus variant with multiple mutations but are yet to establish is transmissibility and immunity provided by vaccines and prior infection. The United Nations marks the end of toxic leaded gasoline use in vehicles worldwide

What's your take on that?
