Using QR code and QR code generator are different things, while maraming payment establishments used qr code sa payment/sending funds using only sa mga qr code scanner ng app since mas easy way  ito.
Pero pag sinabing qr code generator means, na ikaw mag lalagay ng text/phrase para mga maging qr code yung text using yung app/website, in which pag may mga backdoor ito it will send all the text to attacker's servers na linagay mo sa app/website or yung mas famous is pinapalitan yung text na linagay mo which is famous siya for crypto wallet address na ginagawang qr code.
So, I suggest na only use qr code generator na open source, used and trusted by many, or mas maganda if gawa mo since may mga free scripts naman a pwedeng ma google and sa github

To be more safe na din always double check kung tama yung binigay mong address or gagamitin na receiving address.

snip-
Just manually input your address into a QR Code generator, and it could show the QR Code. If you're planning to use that, double-check on the verification on what you're going to use that in. Or better yet, don't use any generators anymore.
This.
This is what you should be doing for the safest method if you are doing scanning QR (Quick Response) Code safely. Always doubled check the address generated by QR Code because it is a very high risk to your security and safety.

Thank you, OP such a very informative thread and might be help to a newbie or those feeling newbies. Cheesy
Anyway, I found articles about how to use QR code safely.

I hope yung mga baguhan lang sa Bitcoin don't use those kinds of website. I think in general, people should worry only if it didn't come with a QR code of your address. Only use what your trusted wallet provides. Like in coins.ph, there is an option where you could save an image or show a QR Code of your address.

Ang problem kasi pag gumamit ng website na may bitcoin generator tapos ilalagay mo yung Address mo, they can easily change the image QR code to their address. You wouldn't understand it kasi you're not a QR Scanner, lol.

Just manually input your address into a QR Code generator, and it could show the QR Code. If you're planning to use that, double-check on the verification on what you're going to use that in. Or better yet, don't use any generators anymore.

The company's researched found out that QR code Generator isn't really safe.

Since, the QR code contains our data information, then the scammers find a way how to get the public keys and changing the addresses to transfer the content to their addresses.

This is how it works:
Quote
“These sites generate a QR code that encodes an address controlled by the scammers, instead of the one requested by the user, thus directing all payments for this QR code to the scammers.”

Yes, it is easy and convenient to use the qr code scanner but after  I have read this article, I'd rather use a long random character code to copy paste it than to sacrifice my personal data which consist of my bitcoin.
