Has anyone else had their bitcoin related account closed at Mailchimp?
Nope. Never!
I have used them for awhile now, i haven't any issues up to now.

We didn't get the account in the start, they rejected our account 
It was pain in the ass, because we already had started the work to integrate with them, and they rejected it later.

So far so good for me. Would be pretty disappointed if they are closing bitcoin related accounts though..

As a customer I am unpleased...maybe I'll complain to them but probably not =/
How sad this is happening. I recommend everybody stop using mailchimp or any related service and run your own mailing list on your own VPS.

Did you inquire as to the reasoning? I don't see why mailchimp would care about the subject matter of an opt-in list.
