Marketing plays big part of having a successful ICO. There are different ways to do it due to the fact that not all investors will check out and read wp to see if it is perfect for investment. Nowadays, if the team wasn't able to hire a good marketing staff who can strategize in this kind of market even the project is really great and useful still they will not get their target.

A quality project should do marketing on some big and professional ICO platforms. And the resources should be shared to discover more potential projects.

For what I believe, an ico that is not able to raise required fund is not a worthy coin. In fact, that should even to some of the signs to watch out for before investing. I believe if a product is good, it will always be sort for and won't always be in the wares of the seller.

Nice simple "First step to run an ICO is to hire for a team."
If the token you want to sell during ICO is backed by an active product or a unique vision that aim to solve a main issue or to satisfy a commun need, community will just need to find you anywhere to get interrested. Invest all the funds in the marketing if you are willing to run a scam ICO only backed by a nice whitepaper.

All experienced entrepreneurs know that marketing is the most important thing in any business or project. If your idea is cool, then people need only to find out about it and they will be interested. Therefore, never spare money for advertising and promotion.

You will not build anything on the swamp. And also here - you can use any strategy you want but volatility of the market is fundamental. Until you find a way to level all the investments despite pumps and dumps and proceed the ICO during bull markets of stable markets everything else is useless.

1. Project is crap.
2. No real use case.
3. Dev team is unrecognizable and unknown.
4. Scam scheme.

But there are ICOs too even they don't have high budget in marketing, they are recognized for having real project and use.

I do not believe in the existence of ICO, which are unwinding themselves, on one idea. Each project should have a clear marketing plan and history that will allocate it from the entire ICO list. Literally today I read about the EOS, which everyone admires: "Long live technology, see what project, zero investment, advertising is nowhere, and invest in it." This is now no advertising, and when the EOS was just beginning, its advertising was everywhere, wherever possible. The promotion took about $ 12 million. And I have not seen a single true story about a successful ICO without marketing.

Marketing is only a small part of the whole system that should work properly. To succeed with marketing, but without a real great product is not possible even by investing 3 million dollars. It is important to work as a team, the uniqueness of the product and the strict adherence to its road map. You know how to treat the project people have invested their money if all that they promised will not be fulfilled.
This is similar to politics. If people say that they will do what is necessary to do otherwise, the power still unhappy and want to change..

if someone who has already created an ico campaign program should be able to pay their coin to enter the market for their coin to grow and know a lot of people out there. but many ico are not strong paying it then coin it will not sell in market and not known by people outside then ico it will schem and fail in his project. maybe the ico makers will be afraid of losing it if they pay that much for their coin but that's wrong in my opinion

Not always marketing helps attract large investments to the company. Perhaps these projects did not have a good product that people would like, so the developers could not raise enough money.

One of the main issues for holding an ICO campaign now is marketing. It is marketing that is driving the project by attracting traffic, new users and investments.

Prices for marketing ICO projects start from $300,000 and go up to $3 million for the whole campaign. But even with such enormous spendings, not all the projects reach their investment goals or even the soft cap. What is the cause? The wrong marketing strategy.
