I believe the answer is no.

Alt trading is a pretty risky albiet sometimes rewarding business.

It would be hard for someone to develop a solid security fund operating around alts due to the risks they present.

Like said above, if you want to try your luck with alts it's best to just have a go yourself and open an account at btce or cryptsy.

The two community funds I know of which deal in altcoin invetsment are #1 LTC-ATF and LTC-ATF.B1 which operate on LTC-GLOBAL, and #2 BMF, which is not approved for trading yet (but you can buy and sell shares in it manually, if you send me a PM). I run BMF. I'm not aware of any others that specifically invest in and/or trade LTC.

Why not do it yourself? Open an account on BTC-E or Cryptsy. If you would like I would be happy to do so for you (If you want just use small amounts so you know I am legit)

To clarify:

I am not looking for existing "fiat" institutions that invest in alts.
I am interesting in answers to the following question:

If I have X BTC and wish to diversify over alt currencies - can I give my money to someone who will do it for me?
(And expect for it not to be a scam with him running away with all my money)

What are the major securities that invest in the various alts?

Suppose I have 100 BTC and want to diversify into various alts (+ripple) ... what are the trusted securities that can manage this diversification for me?
