This world is a very mean and nasty place but worth living. I heard this quote from the fim Seven. At that time I was not old enough to understand this but decades later, I truly know its meaning. It's no arguement that the whole world is not as beautiful as fictions describe and actually it is very mean and nasty. People are living so hard in order to simply survive. Although there are many super rich people all over the world, the most of us are living a minor and difficult life. If each of us takes responsibility to look out ourselves and our family, the world would be much better. Don't assume that some super heros will come and save the world, the only heros are us, like you and me. It's only through the very subtle work we do every day that we can make the world a better place tomorrow. Come on.

What we do and what we fail to do has a great effect on our community and the world at large. Lets start from the family, if a parent fail to raise a responsible child, that child might become a criminal. That child would become a terror to the community and this can give the country a bad image. During festive periods, youth in my region like burning tires on roads and with time these roads would start having holes due to the effect of the fire. These bad roads would definitely lead to accident and traffic jams. During rainy session, people in my area like disposing refuses in the city drainage because they don't want to pay for disposal services. This waste always block our drainage which has contributed a lot to the high risk flooding our city experienced this year.

Everyone has a different personality. Humans are mentally strong, some are not. His name is also life, everything must have trials. Well, from that ordeal we become strong, and try to rise. Little by little we progress, and change for the better than before. The person who understands us the most is ourselves. 'You are the main character in your life' is what I heard from other people. I believe in the saying that if you want to change your friends change yourself first. If you want to change the world change your family first. How impactful have you been to your immediate and extended family? how helpful have you been to your friends and relatives? how important are you in your worship place and your workplace? how helpful are you even in other organisations and on social medias or even in this forum? if you cannot find a way to help someone here in the forum by providing answers to their questions or doing other things that will help people, I doubt that you'll be able to change the world even if you are in the position to do so as the president of your country.

For me I take care of my family first and then the society in which I live, personally I try to help people as much as possible with the money I have, reforming society starts from reforming the person himself first, if everyone tries to make himself good we will definitely get a good society, unfortunately some people see The mistakes of others and they ask them to fix themselves, but they never see their mistakes and this is one of the biggest diseases in society because they do nothing but blame people and do nothing useful to society.
That's sure, just think about it if everyone can try their best to work on themselves, the world would be the best place that everyone would want to live forever. One thing I have noticed about life is that everyone can't be perfect, we all have one bad character but some people still claims to be perfect and they look down on ther people weakness.

I totally agree with you on that. For anybody to succeed at this task, you need to have a positive mindset, try to ensure you are not living pretentiously and being judgemental all the time, be a solution bringer too. It is also important to follow peace with as many as we come in contact with and try to be law abiding even when the people we find ourselves around are not. Because most times, if you want change, you have to be the change you seek.
We all have responsibility to carry out not just our leader. Only the leaders can't make a better society, everybody have a role to play if will wait for the leader to fix up things first and the common citizens are not ready change the society can't be better. I agree with OP. Complaining almost everything is not the answer, you just making the world worse than before, the key to getting a better place in this world is be grateful, even on a global scale financial crash
If we really want to change the world, then we should start charging the man standing in the mirror, because if we don't change our mind set and change way we look at our society then we just go on blaming people for the rest of our lives.

I completely agree with the author, we ourselves are to blame for what is happening in the world now
For me I take care of my family first and then the society in which I live, personally I try to help people as much as possible with the money I have, reforming society starts from reforming the person himself first, if everyone tries to make himself good we will definitely get a good society, unfortunately some people see The mistakes of others and they ask them to fix themselves, but they never see their mistakes and this is one of the biggest diseases in society because they do nothing but blame people and do nothing useful to society.
I agree with you. To change the world, you have to start with yourself and then those closest to you. If the people closest to you are not good, how can you change the world for the better.
A leader is another person... one who puts his pants on the same way you do. The difference is that he thinks he knows how to handle your property better than you do. If you agree with him, fine. If you don't agree, get him where it hurts... he is just another person like you.
It is very easy to blame other and not take responsibility for our actions. It is also very easy to just want them to change for the better. But the thing is the only person we can really change is ourselves.
As for blaming authorities I think it's fair game since they are supposed to do a job. If I own a restaurant and I'm not getting enough customers than maybe I have myself to blame and need to make changes. If however I was doing fine and then now not getting customers coz the road leading to my spot is being dismantled and and is delayed for more than a month, then I think it's right for me to blame them for my loss. Sure I can't do anything about the road and can only change what I can (focus on deliveries rather than dine-in), I could be forgiven for being pissed off.

Naturally everyone tends to take care of themselves first before looking out others and make their lives better. Nowadays the survival becomes harder so they have no time to care for others than their family members probably in future the condition will become worse and we may only save us from hurdles of life. However we didn't make the life of others we should not make the life of others worse in that sense I don't make anyone's life worse which itself is missing in this profit making world.
Many of us tends to blame the leaders and everyone around us for how cruel the world is ,we put the blame on others anf fail to realise and see fault that comes from us and how we contribute to the menace, it is easy to point finger and yet we fail to see our own wrong doings,how have you helped others in your own community, your family ,your friend's, how do you treat people,do you take every small opportunity that comes to you to extract money from people.what is your little contribution to people around you, what can they say about you ,will it be positive or negative, do you care to see people succesful around you.
