Be careful of what you are downloading on the web.

the best thing to do is when you are not familiar with such apps then don't simply put yourself at risk by downloading it. But if you think that you really want it then take time to look for reviews and probably warnings so you have something in background on what you are downloading.

The app in question was released as a currency conversion tool. It was named as Easy Rates Converter. The actual intent of this app is to steal personal user credentials for existing legitimate apps. The malicious mobile application targeted the apps of CommBank, Google Play and even Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange. As per Stefanko, the app has been downloaded over 500 times.

Once the malware is installed, it silently waits in the background for the opportunity to make its move. When the user opens an app like Binance, the malware Shocked creates an overlay that is placed on top of the legit app. As the user enters their credentials, the information is recorded and sent to the phishers.

I think they can not do anything if the user activates the 2FA function in the exchange site. This is the best way to protect your money if you store altcoins in exchange site.

well, it's like phishing in an application such as a third party that is very dangerous.

certainly they are targeting large companies, including in world of cryptocurrency isn’t another on largest exchange it time the centralized it’s very possible to malware attacks and hackers.

Men, I would recommend a little bit how to minimize it all.
According an android platform is very easy malware or third-party apps different with iOS a bit difficult-it get in the appstore.

1. don't install other than the application of official from the developer.
2. don't root on android
3. don’t jailbrake on ios
4. don’t donwnload on third-party apps or beta version
5. don’t sharing contacts, GPS, and others

so we have to be careful
